I saw this thread and the first word that came to my head was Tardis but the first guy to reply said that so instead I'd have to say that i would want the Citadel from Mass Effect becouse hell who wouldn't want to get behinf the drivers seat of that thing and ride around
As a second option I'd say a Ton-Ton becouse they are just so awsome

Space travel, time travel, other dimensions... comes with a pool, infinite rooms and could potentially destroy the universe if it ever decided to go boom.

It sounds cool but I've even had old cars burst into flame on me before.

So, I'll just take the sonic screwdriver and see if I can build something less volatile with it.

The sonic screwdriver is useless unless you have Timelord smarts use it with.

I'm having a hard time coming up with more convenient devices that could make me functionally immortal, so I'm going to have to go with one of those "stacks" from this book called Altered Carbon by Richard Morgan. It's basically a little flash drive implanted in the spine that holds a digital copy of the user's mind, which can be uploaded into a new body upon death. I'd naturally have to let scientists take a look at it so they could catch up on the 200-300 years of technological innovations that would make the possession of a stack actually useful, but as long as I get to live longer than I'm supposed to, I don't care.

Runner up choices are the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device (for obvious reasons) and a RIG from Dead Space (personal, back-mounted health bar!).
