I would get everyone to agree that there is nothing worse than having the taste of coconut creep up on you when you aren't expecting whatever you're eating to taste like coconut.
An example would be Thai green curry.

I BLOODY HATE COCONUT.

Not sure I get you here. What's science got to do with kidnappings?

Worst thing ever... restaurant called old orleans does coconut prawns, imagine a gorgeous deep fried battered prawn... that had been sodomized by a bounty bar. Nasty stuff.

Oh? A free ticket? Sure, fine. If I could make everyone believe ANY one singular thing, without fail or skepticism, I would have to say..."Boot to the head!". And they would boot themselves in the head.

Lemme explain.

People are idiots. Or even if they're not, then they can/will/have achieved some of the greatest moments in dumbassary (Hooray for made-up word that makes sense.) that they deserve a nice kick in the face to set them straight, to show them how moronic all the in-fighting, the greediness, the pointless political bullshit in life really is. People over-complicate things, and that makes even smart people look foolish while trying to dance to the tune of overly-intricate things. There is an easier way and a better way. This boot is for all the selfish assholes that need it. And for the rest who seem faultless? Why the fuck didn't you do anything about it?

And that's why the boot to the head.

Now then, to just address the issue of the C'tan? They're shit. I've heard about them and they make no sense. Their power is arbitrary according to an ill-explained game-logic, like saying they can do a thing 'just because'. Sorry, but no. Cthulhu and the Mythos have a rich history, thanks largely to a rather disturbing band of writers and the man himself, H.P. Lovecraft.

Oh, NO. I'm going to have to bang my head on my desk for half an hour to remove that culinary felony from my memory.

May I introduce you the Cthulhu mythos?

The embodiments of Fear, Death, Madness, Unknown, Chaos and everything is Pure Evil.

Even Satan or the Grim Reaper would cower in the presence of the Cthulhu Mythos.
Sounds quite a lot like C'tans, actually. They both are filled of hatred of all living things. They both inspire fear in the field of battle, often times their mere presence alone is enough to make living creatures to go spastic until their body failes them, the Nightbringer only has to look to steal kill.

The Outsider is the perfect example of Madness and Fear, Nightbringer for Chaos & Death, the Deceiver for the Unknown and they are all pure evil.

Perhaps Cthulhu and C'tans have a lot in comman. Is he also incredibly smart and intelligent, existed for as long as the universe itself has existed? I'm curious.
Psssst! What do you think C'tan is based on and The Necrons?

The Mythos from Lovecraft states that exists a race called THE GREAT OLD ONES that came from other dimensions and planets(I'm just using my memory and I'm lazy to go to Wiki.) Cthulhu and some of his pals found earth as a good planet to settle on, and virtually wiped out all the life that existed on it.(The Ancients the original Earth dwellers) Then they built huge cities all over the planet shaped continents to their will and rested on them.

The cities sank into the sea and they were forgotten. That is till the Humankind started to pop up.

THE GREAT OLD ONES sometimes call for the Human race, most of the time driving them mad and killing them on the process.

The legend goes that someday Cthulhu will wake up from his underwater Tomb and destroy all life on Earth. And some humans are giving up their souls to them so when Cthulhu awakes they can be spared and serve under his domain for all eternity.

For a better read go read the short novel called "The Call of Cthulhu." by H.P. Lovecraft Master of Horror and creator of Cosmic Horror.

In his house at R'lyeh dead Cthulhu waits dreaming.

Hey, I just thought of another one. I think everyone should believe that Mentor should shut up because he's making a fuss over the characters of a mere GAME against good literature IN THE WRONG KIND OF FUCKING THREAD.

Its just vaguely based on. The Necron seem to be more based on possibly the Borg and the Terminator. You know the never get tired, never stop till achieve victory and stuff like that.

But go read Lovecraft. If you can past through some of the decayed writing and some racism, its something that will make you scared to think "What if...".

People do not want to submit themselves to psychological experiments, most of the time. They also don't want to try awesome new things, like genetic modifying. Kidnapping people forces them to do so, and allows science to advance more quickly.
