Totally, I'd eat. And, if it had no effect on my health either, I'd eats tons everyday. I suppose food wouldn't cost as much either as it's no longer a necessity. So yeah, I'd pig out.

I want to get rid of the need for sleep. The rest of my biological functions I don't really have a problem with. Its just laying still for 8 hours is really cutting into my free time.

I'd just go out to restaurants every couple of weeks. Not having a fridge would save money.

I'd still probably eat snacks when watching movies though.

Things I'd gladly give up are sleep (if I had near perfect memory, which would be required since your brain stores most memories during sleep), having to go to the bathroom, and sweating if an alternative way of keeping me cool was available.

As long as this not needing to eat also meant I didn't get fat if I did then HELL YEAH. I would eat. Its sociable and I very much enjoy food. I could never give up eating bread, it's simple but brilliant.

I'd still eat, but probably once a day at most, maybe twice if I was feeling self-indulgent, and there'd be plenty of days when I didn't eat at all. I enjoy the taste of most foods I eat, so no way would I voluntarily abandon food completely, but having to eat so often gets on my nerves. And I already snack a lot so I'd probably keep doing that too.

Sleep is similar. Sleep feels nice, but it's such a pain to have to do it several hours a day, more or less every day (I mean, I can stay up for 24 hours or more, but I'd rather not because it makes me feel like shit). Of course, if I didn't have to do it I imagine I'd do it really, really rarely, like basically every other thing in my life that's enjoyable but inconvenient.

More often than not, i eat cause the food is tasty, not because i'm hungry.
Dunno bout breathing, but thx for turning manual breathing on for the next few minnutes you asshole :p
pro-creation, haven't been interrested so far, so thank science for condoms and birth controll pills.
Self preservataion, is logical, as long as you enjoy your life. I live my life for my own sake, not for some larger cause, though i don't mind if i can help one. But it is my own liking of my life causing me to preserve myself, not some obligation to anything.

Probably not considering I'm only 47kg and I'm a guy. So yeah, I don't eat much at all anyways...

I'd still eat, definitely. It's a very pleasant experience, and I actually quite like cooking. It's also a great social activity, sharing a meal is a cornerstone of how we interact with others.

One thing I'd probably give up though, and a few people have said it before, is sleeping. For the most part anyway. I'd like to be able to just roam around at night, and be eternally indefatigable (I love that word, hardly EVER get to use it). I'd probably still sleep occasionally, or with a significant other, if they were unlucky enough to not be bestowed the same awesome power.

If nothing was necessary, I'd probably stop sleeping, and not being able to feel pain but still being able to feel pleasure would be awesome.

But I'd never give up food, I loves me mah steakz too much. xD

I would love having not to eat anymore but I still would, purely for taste and I discovered in Uni that cooking your own meals kills time and I always have a feeling of satisfaction when I'm done.

You forgot sleep and waste. If I could go without all the biological imperatives without any negative consequences or side affects, then I probably would. I would be much more productive.

Yes, oh god curry I could never give you up! And bacon. Tonights experiment, bacon curry. Fuck yeah!

I'd also keep sleep and showering, although probably less frequently, just for the enjoyment of it.

Brushing teeth can go fuck itself, if it wasn't required for healthy teeth and fresh breath it wouldn't get done.

I think I would, but mostly out of force of habit.
I like food, and I could give it up if I wanted, but there would be a gap at some point between 6-8 o'clock that I'd have to fill with other stuff. I also like cooking, so there's that.

What's also interesting is how society would adjust to the lack of necessity. I think restaurants and places people go out to would stay around, but places like McDonalds probably wouldn't, because people would go out somewhere nice to eat, and cook when they have people around for special occasions, so supermarkets would reduce their food range hugely. Pot Noodles would be gone along with all kinds of instant meals, as would Pringles, Doritos, and all kinds of snack foods. Sweets and chocolates would probably stay around because people buy it as a treat for themselves or reward for children.
Essentially, anything that's bought with regularity and not for any particular reason would be much less desirable, and would fade away.

Quick question though after that little tirade. How would this be found out?

As for other biological necessities and imperatives, some I could do without, some I'd stick around with.
Breathing would be a hard habit to break, but I'd probably learn not to for the carbon dioxide produced and swinmming.
