If I was being unselfish, I'd keep some back for paying mine, my sister's and mates' uni costs, buy a few games/albums, then give the rest to charity.
If I was being selfish I'd buy a whole crapload of games and albums, probably go and see some bands in other countries, because of their current tour dates being in America/Europe, keep some back to pay off uni, buy some nice sound equipment for the future (want to be a sound engineer) and maybe a venue for live music, as well as for me to live in. Rest I'd probably save and put in a high interest account.

Buy a biotech company, hire the best egg heads, have them create a clon of John Bonham, rent the Manchester stadium for one night, pay the other 3 Zepelliners to play until sun comes out... if it dears.
Buy video games, pay off my house, cars, and credit cards, and learn to duel wield numchucks.

Plop it all right in my Suicide Fund. You see, when I die, I want to go out in style. I'm not talking being buried in a rented tux, no I mean really classy. The plan is to buy my way aboard the ISS and bring along some form of sports car. Once I've had my fill of space life, I'd load up into the car, begin to blare various heavy metal songs and ride that thing down into the stratosphere. It'd be even better if I was able to pay a news crew to follow me about on this endeavor. There's no greater honor than having your death filmed from a space shuttle and having it broadcasted on all the major networks. Oh yes, this is something that'd get front paged on Youtube. That's for certain.
Buy two investment properties and rent them out with a respectable tenant agency. Put the left over (approximately $200,000 give or take) into a high-interest bank account and sit on it. 7% interest rate or more is about $14,000 per year for doing nothing and between that and the two investment properties, I'd probably go back to renting my one bedroom apartment and working as the System Administrator I am.

buy a couple of properties here in Brighton and rent them out, spend a year travelling with the misses, 52 countries in a year aiming to wake up each Tuesday in a different country then for the second year i'd pick my 12 favourite and spend a month in each, I wouldn't do it all first class or anything cause 1 million wouldn't stretch that far but we could still live in comparative luxury.

I'd buy a car... Ok I'd buy more than one car...I'd buy a nice, practical high MPG machine... Then I'd go buy me a primo muscle car... Hey maybe that new Dodge Challenger, but probably something old, like a Chevelle...
Then i'd buy some blades. I always wanted to collect but never had the money. A few battle ready weapons, but no katana's or others of the like, far to overrated in my opinion. The first will be a nice big ol' zweihander, then maybe a Mayan war sword I saw somewhere.
I'd need a place to put this nice stuff though, so i'd buy a house. Again nothing large and extravagant. I'll be just fine with a ranch, or even something small in the city.
NOW I would buy some consoles, seeing as all I have is a 360, a GCN that gives me DREs, and a defunct PSOne, with these consoles I'd get some games, stuff I'm interested in of course, but not every damn game on the market.
Then I would invest, buy some stocks, hell if i was out of school with a degree i'd start my own advertising/marketing/graphic design firm.
After that, i'd keep what's left tucked away, use what I need nothing more... I might donate to charity, but frankly, I am a bit of a greedy SOB
