I would probably not write the paper. I hate water...It has no taste. The only reason I can think of that water is better than tea is that I consider hot water to be one of those Things I Can't Live Without, but your question sounds as though we are debating drinks.
I was going to write up a creation story involving water, the Cthulhu mythos (in concept, at least), sweet tea and the evils thereof, etc. It was going to be at least 1k words.
Then I realised that with the aversion most people have towards text, no one would read it. I'm lazy, so eh. Might write it later.

Sweet tea is really bad for you. Check out the nutrition facts. Sweet tea can make you gain weight without realizing it, and weight gain can be related to a number of health problems. Water is cleansing and beneficial in a number of ways. Drinking water is also better for your skin and hair, so it makes you look pretty, too.
I don't know much about sweet tea, but if you want to fill a paper, look into the history of sweet tea's conception and creation. Then you could write some additional pages soap-boxing about how while we drink sweet tea, the poor people from 3rd world cournty x are being manipulated by greedy corporation y to produce sweet tea.
