Questioning the divinity of Christ or creationism will carry the death penalty. Remaking, video games or films will carry the death penalty. All movies, books and games must be self-contained. Yelling "first!" in forums will result in death by dismemberment. 2.Everything is owned by the government. Even the air you breath.
Allot of law suits would be fixed this way.
3.Compulsory Military service from the age of seven.
The best education mixed with fitness, discipline, self respect, respect for others, and the ablity to defend ones self.
This solves many problems and has benefits like.
No more stupid people.
No more fat people.
4.There is no other work other than working for the military (our glories nation).
We all work as a team. Medical staff look after the sick, engineers build stuff, and scientist do science, Entertainers Entertain. All for the greater good of the nation!
This also means that there is zero unemployment. If you don't have a job, We'll find something for you to do.
5.Voting is compulsory, and political groups are outlawed.
All members of government must be independent, and everyone must participate in politics.
6. No Drugs are outlawed but your intake is monitored and restricted.
Sure you can go out drinking after work and get intoxicated, but being drunk (or wasted) is outlawed.

i think i'd like to make arbitrary laws for my own amusement, things that wouldnt actually harm anyone or make them want to dipose me.
Stuff like:
1.Everyone must wear green hats on tuesdays (on penalty of extreme tickling)
2.My birthday must be celebrated by everyone, a national day of party time, with lots of jelly. If you dont like to eat jelly you must stand in jelly or have jelly thrown at you instead. Bring in the jelly police.
as a slightly more typical dictatorial rule I would submit all people wishing to breed to examination.
This would only be effective if all people are somehow temporarily "neutered" at birth and then if they pass the test this can be "turned off" I suspect nano-bots may be the answer here.
The test wouldn't be really hard or necessarily focus on intelligence although this might be a partial factor but really be an assessment of ones heart/intentions.
i.e. my test would rule out anyone with a sadistic nature, anyone convicted of a sex offence or with the (provable) propencity for one.
Mainly it would be aimed to weed out people who have kids as a means to mooch off the state, so only people who genuinely wanted to be parents to contribute to the world would pass, people with good intentions not slimy wasters.
This would prevent teen/accidental pregnancy, save money on contraceptive solutions for the state & the burden on 'welfare' or 'benefits'. The capacity to care for the child in a 'material' sense wouldn't be high on my criteria, poor people have the right to have children and I wouldn't begrudge actually helping people who are trying to make the best of their situation.

1. All recreational drugs are legal under certain guidelines.
For example you can smoke tobacco and weed in your home or certain designated places, think Amsterdam, same goes for alcohols. If you you need to shoot up heroin or other "hard drugs" than you will have to go to a special clinic and have you heroine injected by a train health care professional in a clean environment with new and sterile needles. The fact that you are a recreational drug user will be stated on your ID so if you commit a crime your sentencing is doubled.
2. Health care is universal because everyone has to pay taxes for it but drug users and criminals pay more. There will be no restrictions on family planning and those who protest that will have to do it outside city limits.
3. There will be no censorship radio and film broadcast or other forms of entertainment as long as the entertainment does not violate other laws, I.E. no snuff films or real rape and kitty porn videos. Parents will be held responsible for the upbringing of their own children not society.
4. There is no death penalty but repeat criminals and pathological offenders will become property , slaves, to the state and made to hard labor unless evidence surfaces that they are innocent. Repeat offender will be defined by the courts on a trial by trial basis. Pathological offenders (pedophiles and serial rapist or murderers) will have surgical procedures (lobotomies and/or castration) to prevent them from repeating their crimes.

All orphans above they age of ten will be trained to serve the state as technocrats (lawyers, bankers and scientific advisers) or professional military/law enforcement personal and will be given free health care,housing and education up to and beyond a four year college depending on their intelligence. If they wish to pursue other employment they can leave state care at the age of 21.

4. Protests will be legal, but cannot involve the government's policies. Any protests of this nature are treason and will be met with deadly force.
5. I am the only one above the law. Even my right hand man will be executed for a non-sanctioned... cleansing.
