If you were a Gym Leader, what Type would you represent?

Uhh Id use a multitype system, the only reason gym leaders usually lose is the get stomped by a player with their weakness on the deck. You go into a grass gym with all fire pokemon and they switch out into a water type, you just got served.

Fire. Because that's my favourite type! And my most powerful Pokémon would be my Charizard!

Charizard was like my sole Pokemon vs The Elite 4. I just used the Legendaries as stand-in's when he needed pots, or was just doing nothing. [I levelled him to 100 first, then just did the Legendary's.]

Choice is obvious for me. Id b a ghost type Gym leader.
Yes there weak against psychic pokemon but a lot of moves cant even hit them and most importantly there cool, they can learn a fck load of TMS and gengar (barrin health) has some amazing stats

I only ever got into the first generation of pokemon, are there more than three ghost pokemon nowa days? Cause if there isnt my gym might b very limited

There are a lot more, and only the original 3 are weak to Psychic (cause of the dual Poison type). Now you just have to worry about Dark types.

I'd go for ghost: Ghastly, Gengar, etc. I love those Pokemon. The gym puzzles are always fun, too.

I would to ghost as well but my lead pokemon would be dusknoir with fire, ice, thunder and shadow punch so he would be good against nearly every type.

next I would have gengar I would teach him strong moves to use his speed to his full advantage.

then I would have a frosslass with thunder, blizzard, ice beam and dark pulse.

I would also have a weaker version of each of them.

If I was a gym leader, I'd be a real dick to the trainers.

My gym will be Fire themed. The puzzle will involve fire and all my trainers will use fire types. But when the challenger gets to me with their Rock and Water types, turns out I train Grass Pokemon.

Or

I will be the first Gym Leader. I'll use a level 100 Arceus as my first Pokemon. Once they've managed to get their starter strong enough to beat Arceus by endlessly grinding against level 3 Pidgeys, they'll discover other 5 will be level 1 Magicarps.

Or a team full of the most annoying Pokemon

Earlier i mentioned electric pokemon. But now if i was a gym leader i would specialize in water pokemon and more specifically MAGIKARP!

Hm. Water. I'd have Swampert, Lanturn, Quagsire, Ludicolo, Cloyster, Dewgong. All of those are either water/ground or water/grass, for electric types, or water/ice, to help combat grass types.
Other than that defensive lineup, water types have a pretty good moveset, and decent power.

Ghost. That way I would get powerful pokemon as well as the excuse to have my gym look all creepy and decrepit and for me to run around scaring the little trainers that would come to fight me. I'd make up stories about how all my ghost pokemon are the lost souls of people who died in horrible ways and then follow the battle up with "Nah, just kiddin' about those scary stories. You should have seen your face, though!"
