The Engineer + Attack Dog combo from Red Alert 2.

You don't need an army with that, they're so overpowered.

You can win a match in about 1-2 minutes with them.

Infantry: WH40K: Dawn of War: Dark Crusade's Tau Riflemen. Ludicrous range and power, crap in melee. Nobody lives to get in melee.

Vehicle: SupComm 2's UEF Light Artillery. Who needs tank when you can rain death from afar?

Air: Red Alert 2's Kirov Airship. Massive health, Massive power. Bit on the slow side, but Red Alert 3's Kirovs with speed boost ability are just too frail.

Uber: Armored Core: For Answer's Spirit of Motherwill. Because RTS needs more island-sized spider-tank fortresses.

Hero: While we're at it, Joshua o'Brien from Armored Core 4, in his AC, White Glint.

So yeah. Death from afar.

Infantry: A mindless rabble with no weapons, low movement speed, low HP, low everything basically.

Vehicle: One of those electric scooter/unicycle things that people stand on.

Air: I dunno. A paper aeroplane. Or something useless like that.

Uber: One of the pathetic infantry who managed to get their hands on a rock. No improvement in any way.

Hero: Me. See above. Take away rock. Maybe give bits of metal stuck in flesh. Lower health/movement/damage/everything.

I'll do a better one... never.

Well, I think i'd go for something a bit different.

Infantry: Irish/Scottishmen. Specifically drunk ones who've gotten their hands on street signs.

Vehicles: Trolleys. Like the ones you push into a... store, is it called for you guys? Can transport two with a third pushing it. Can be thrown down hills at charging enemies.

Air: You know those little remote controlled planes? Those, with spikes on the front. However, being piloted by the infantrymen (who will then join the ranks as their planes hit the enemy) they are rather inaccurate.

Uber: Douchebag. That tremendous tool who goes to a party, gets wasted and tries to get a girl so drunk she can't walk. Luckily he's turned his efforts into getting the enemy army wasted in an attempt for forgiveness.

Hero: Cockblocker Connor. Is surrounded by an aura of grateful drunk girls. Units near him cannot attack (both sides) and he cannot be targeted out of sheer respect.

For fun

Pansy unit: Steve.

...Fuck Steve.

Infantry: Sith Warriors (or, if applying TOR rules, Sith Inquisitor Assassins, for the unacquainted, the Darth Maul archetype). Beat that :D

Vehicle: Am not a big ground-based vehicle fan, but since I went with Star Wars above, off the top of my head, a pile of AT-AT walkers. I think I just realised my favourite vehicle (I don't tend to drive tanks in games a lot, too slow and bulky for my taste)

Aircraft: Those super sonic Aurora bombers that fuck shit up in C&C Generals: Zero Hour. Man I love those things (and I tend to be a pilot in Battlefield, so it's really my thing).

Uber: A dragon. For power's sake, one out of Dark Souls :p

Hero: A ridiculously powerful Darth. If you played Empire At War, you remember how you could have a Sith unit (I think it was Vader himself) and he'd go up to a building, shake his hands and make the whole fucking thing collapse? Yeah, can't beat that for a hero.

Hmm, let's see...

Infantry: Imperial guardmen. Effective weaponry when in large numbers, cheap and in huge supply.

Vehicles: Apocalypse tanks from Red Alert, because fuck logic and reasonable firepower.

Air: The batmobile in Batman:Beyond. It has everything you need. Missiles? Check. Infrared vision? Check. Speed? Check. Deus Ex weapon to stop the bad guy's getaway vehicle? Double check.

Uber unit: Megalith from Supreme Commander. A gigantic amphibious crab robot with two battleship turrets, torpedo launchers, Flak cannons and a unit production system.

Hero: Commander Shepard. When he dies, he gets revived and gets angrier. When people questions his tactics, he punches them. Shepard just does not give a fuck, so Shepard on board a Megalith, surrounded by Imperial Guardmen, apoc tanks and batmobiles? Yeah, any opposition is pretty much fucked.

do you need that much fire power?

-.- what a silly question, to answer i shall quot the experts

MOAR DAKKA!!! - 40k Orks

there is never such a think as to much fire power, and 'overkill' is a phrase utter by sissy's, there is only, 'I'm firing' and 'i need to reload'.

least that's my thoughts on it
You got me there. One of my mottos is "Overkill>Underkill" and As I said, any reason why I wouldnt use Heavyarms Custom is purely mobility related, NOT firepower related.
well, if we're going by the anime (yay for cross medium discussions :D) then mobility was never an issue ether, in endless waltz it looked to be pretty much the same mobility wise as it was to it's TV counter part, the only thing it lost was the knife. which i remember not getting used much anyway

I'm gonna go more for a swarm/hive mind sooooo:

Infantry: Ants. Big ants, not giant ants mind you, just big. And lots of them.
Vehicle: Why would I need vehicles? Ants don't know how to drive, silly. Soooo MOAR ANTS! (caps makes it important)
Air: Ants can fly.
Uber: Ze Qveen, to mass prodouce my ant soldiers.
hero: Cthulu, since ants have no sanity the god of madness will have no effect on my troups.

Strategy: ....ANTS EVERYWHERE!!!

DOCTOR WHO TIME!

Infantry: Ood are the expendable foot soldiers, Judoon and U.N.I.T soldiers as the main infantry with Cybermen and Sontarans as the elite soldiers.

Vehicle:well there aren't any...

Air: Standard air vehicles are Atraxi and other normal alien ships with the elite ships being (once again) cyberman and sontaraan ships. (possibly a Tardis but only for transportation)

Über: Daleks, the Vashta Nerada, and weeping angels. Daleks are the most powerful units in the game other than heroes

Hero: The Dotcor, The Master and captain Jack Harkness. The doctor and the master have low health but they have a regen system, making them change abilities every time they regenerate (which can be exploited by killing them once or twice by yourself) and after their final regeneration (as far as the series has come) you have to revive them at your base.

each regeneration has an ability that they can only use once. Eccleston can call upon the bad wolf for a deus ex machina moment, Tennant can call upon the Doctor-Donna and the Donna-Doctor and matt smith can call River and "sexy".

The master has the ability to call the Toclafane as well as permanently revert into his degrading state and gaining a ranged lightning attack.

The captain only gets downed temporarily and has a teleporter. He can also seduce non hero units (even daleks) causing them to join his side.

Unfortunately I have only seen the new series so there may be many other things that need a place here.

Edit: Forgot to mention, if one side gets to the end of their tech tree they can make a time-lock. this causes the game to be never ending war with soldiers resurrecting the instant that they die, making a rage quit the only possible ending.

I like your topic. It be cool and funny. Let's see here...

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Now, I have a far more evil army than this one, but I'll leave that to anyone who's curious enough to find out. In the meantime, here is Jack's version of the Enclave.

Infantry - The Enclave is a highly-secretive organization of people with no face beyond that of the black powersuit. Therefore here...you have the soldiers in mechanically-strong armor, wielding souped-up plasma rifles for long range and Ripper-type weapons for melee. Upgrades for infantry call for the surprise Replicant, which is a humanoid robot built directly into the powersuit for three times the strength and durability. Also, they've got a haymaker that can stop a bus.

Vehicle - Since there are air units, I'll assume this is for ground vehicles. Thus, I present to you the Enclave hovercraft, which is jet-driven and more-or-less tank-like in design with both forward plasma cannons and a mounted plasma turret. This hover-vehicle is fairly streamlined and may double as a troop carrier over land and sea, as per design. Its speed makes it a rather versatile piece of armor whose only real flaw is that it's not better armed. Upgrades, however, will include missles.

Air - C'mon, you knew it was coming. The Enclave Vertibird is an achievement of science made to essentially build a better kind of helicopter. Similar to an actual tilt-rotor vehicle, it acknowledges that it is not a plane and thus doesn't try to be one. Instead, it is one of the most stable air transport this organization will use to this day. It is equipped with both rapid-fire energy cannons and missles, and is exceptionally maneuverable when handled by an experienced pilot. Upgrades will include...carpet bombing.

Uber - The science division will always be cranking out new and deadlier toys. And for this entry, we present Omega Squad. They are the pinnacle of powersuits, the silver death machines who can mow the REST of their army down. Why? Well, combine an Enclave powersuit with the world of a man called uhhh...Tony Stark. This gets you...something alot like War Machine, what with the silver and all. Arm them with the NEW Vindicator Gatling Gun (Gauss Minigun) and the special Uber-Sledge, and...you have a pretty nasty opponent.

Hero - The leader of the Enclave (Number One) is too game-breakingly hard. Also, he's more of a villain. Therefore, the hero is from the Fallout Squad. That's right, a title-plug character. You see, everyone in the Enclave is without a true identity, just a number. And so the TRULY strong get to have a name, their FIRST name. And why? Because they are so incredibly nutty that you have to tell them apart. I am FalloutJack, and I am a hacked character who breaks the Fourth Wall. FalloutGreg is a stone-cold professional who may ot may not have a GIANT MECH on his side. FalloutBob is a ludicrously-insane fighter with a Beowulf complex. And so on. A Fallout member is a one-man army, and now we're in charge! WOOHOO!!
This "Enclave" thou speaks of intrigues me...

I am pretty sure they'd all be hugely ineffectual. They'd require a lot of money to get motivated and even then, they'd just hang around and argue with your mouse clicks.

Well, you know how it is. You see a group from a game, you figure you can do better. So, the Enclave of the Fallout game series was my choice, an evil shadow government organization. I like the way I run them since...they're smarter when I do. Hell, I incorporated more references and even took a shot at my own hacked Fallout 2 character.

(Also not mentioned, their secret weapon: Metal Gear BOX.)

My army are all monsters form Silent Hill.

Infantry: Nurses. That only works if the main character is either James (Extreme issues with women) Heather (Disgusted with her body) Travis (Serial killer of women) or Alex (Gay and grew up with extremely homophobic dad). Gum heads or barbies if not

Vehicles: Those possessed wheelchairs from The Room

Air: Those annoying cockroach things from Homecoming

Uber: Either Pyramid head or Amnion

Hero: Possibly either Judge Holloway or any one of the protagonists from the games.

infantry: a mixture of space marines and tau pathfinders for a heavy and light combination
vehicles: something along the lines of the m44 hammerhead from mass effect mobility with solid firepower
Air: I would use little of, some transports maybe a couple of gunships
Artillery: I would use this in abundance heavy ranged artillery with some AA and machine guns to defend them
Uber:something similar to drop pods or teleporters, the mix of heavy weaponry and mobility slaughtering all opposition
