things I would do as president.
1. build that wall btwn US and Mexico, electric and barbwire with cement base, at least 10 feet high. Let's see those illegal immigrants jump the border now >=D *edit* it would also pump some action in that economy.
2. government spending is fail, need to clean up the corruption.
3. Reduce America's dependence on not only energy sources, but alot of other things. There is too much "made in China" bull-. America has such a unfavorable balance of trade its sickening.
4. let's go nuclear and send the waste to the moon. Srsly, there's nothing there and it would be something to do while taking those trips up there. After going to nuclear energy, we find ways to add solar, wind, and electric energy over time.
5. education reform. Knowledge is power. Add a financial responsibility class in there, so we don't have people needlessly going into debt for their stupidity/ignorance of how it works.
6. Keep that place in Cuba open, but reduce only to those who are war criminals. There will be no more of this, I hijack you and take you there b/c I u look suspicious rhetoric.
7. limit terms for all politicians, not just presidents but senators and house members as well.
On another note. I disagree with Obama on many policies. Universal Healthcare will do nothing for this country at this time. Look at Massachussetts. The rationing there has already begun. Making it affordable for those who don't have it would be much more efficient and less costly. Also, to keep regulations and laws that prohibit the insurance companies to 'cheat out it's customers'. It's b/c people are up to their asses in debt that ppl aren't gonna spend. So in lieu of that, I would've spent the stimulus package on reducing personal debt a certain percentage for every American out there, because debt is only good if you can be fiscally responsible about it.
I see alot of ppl don't like that faux news channel. lulz.

Reform the education system. School shouldn't be that place of oppression you're forced to go to, and the curriculum should be more challenging, especially with science. And health classes really need to die.
Make prison focus on rehabilitation. It's better to set an ex-criminal (as in: doesn't commit crimes anymore) free than to keep him locked up and then commit crimes again, which seems to be what usually happens. Also, I'd use community service more and try penalties other than prison. "Unusual" means inconsistent severity of punishments, judges can try to be a bit creative.
Use nuclear power. Seriously guys, Chernobyl was very badly designed by a guy who only made bridges. The waste would be quite an issue, however (Metal Gear Solid made me jumpy about Materials Unaccounted For)
Reduce the military budget. They'd still have a lot, but they should be more efficient, not to mention that as it is we could probably destroy the world. Most of the cuts would be in weapons development we don't need, since I'm not willing to cut the salaries of our brave soldiers.
Legalize gay marriage. Seriously, why haven't we done this already.
Crack down on behavior modification camps like WWASP (look it up and be disgusted). Oh yeah, those are going to be raided.
And the usual stuff I should do, like cut wasteful spending, crack down on corruption, try to be on friendly terms with the world, stuff like that.

You shove it under mountains until it becomes inert. Plus, there's far less waste than MGS made out. A lot of it can be reused again and again by the same power plant that produces it (meaning no transport costs!) and generally the final product of waste is much smaller than they made it out to be.
You'd have to pay for the rocket fuel to send it into space. Not cheap. Plus, rockets have had a habit of going wrong at times. A space rocket blowing up in mid atmosphere full of nuclear waste=Not a good plan.
Already in effect. A Senator's term is six years as I recall, with 1/3rd being re-elected every two years. Members of the House of Representatives serve two year terms.

Enjoy finding Americans willing to drive taxis and clean up your crap. Immigrants are good, illegal immigrants not so much. If you're going to step up action against illegal immigrants than making your immigration laws a bit less draconic would be recommended.
20 years wait to find out if a person has been approved or not is frankly stupid. I'm not surprised there's illegal immigration.
