*Very true. Though if my memory serves me correctly once you have done a..."bonus" dungeon in Final Fantasy IV you get something which gives you a very powerful "Double jump" ability.

I see. Though, rather than depend on chance, I think it would be better to simply be able to use the command at will.
But it all comes down to preference I suppose....because I would think you would be more comfortable with the chance of your lance striking with the power of wind rather than simply jumping.
