Well, you got the identity thieves coming in to the disaster area for anything they can, then you have the religious running around trying to convert people saying it was gods will, then you have insurance agencies trying to cover their asses...

Just everyone seems to jump in the damn thing to take what they can.

I know, I usually make them.

So, I am now taking a very unhealthy approach to this evening, and having starbursts as a snack this evening. How about you?

Well I just finished waiting 11 minutes for my computer to work after posting that response. Plus you're talking to a person who has gone without eating in the day on multiple days. Sometimes nothing.

You too huh? Just this weekend I had a rough time with eating and all that, and it seems that you have been having a lot of computer problems at the moment.

Though, I'm willing to bet its nothing now.

@Unusual: Well my meds are the reason for that because they are a side effect.
Also, my computer is in very bad condition.

What happened to your computer? Do something to it?

Meds huh? Seems kinda popular these days...but hey, I don't know much about them.

@Unusual: No my computer is just old and barely surviving. It was made when Windows Vista first came out.
As for meds it's because I have a messed up psyche and I've had to take them way before they became popular.

Ah, I see. Perhaps getting to the point in which upgrades are in time. Or perhaps just to replace the whole thing.

I can understand that. Personally, I just hate meds in general. Not even for a headache, I just avoid the stuff.

@Unusual: Too expensive to replace and updated it already.
As for the meds, avoiding all meds can be dangerous a but.

Too expensive to replace? computers are usually pretty inexpensive now. I got mine for about $500 and its very easily world better than my old one.

Yeah...I know, but its just a sort of paranoia I got built in to my model. Some may say defect, but I call it an advantage.

@Unusual: I'm in High School, don't have a job, and live in California where we are paid basically nothing.
Now onto meds; true many have paranoia about medication, but it is meant to better a person.

Ah, I see. Much in the same boat I am, except I'm in Michigan.
Better a person? I would like to think that a majority of people would be fine if they didn't take so much medicine all the time for everything. But then again, I'm a little accusing like that too.

@Unusual: Trust me on this on the meds, they wouldn't be better if they didn't for the serve stuff. My mother would actually die because they are the only thing maintaining her thyroid. She literally would die if she didn't take her meds; that's how my family is, our medical problems will kill us. But taking it for every little thing is bad, but for my case I need them.

Of course, I wouldn't deny that they do help keep people alive. I can understand your situation. My grandpa would be quite dead if they didn't have any medicine around. So yeah, I know its important....but also, your second point is what I get at. Taking them for every little thing.

@Unusual: See my family has very bad luck with genetics. We have Type 1 diabetes running in the family, many psychological problems, bad spines, and a lot more. For my mom her thyroid got sick and the doctors had to burn it, so she has to take meds to keep is stable. Well the Thyroid affects a lot in the body. But I do agree that people shouldn't take them for every little thing that they believe is wrong with them. While for me it may seem like I fall under that category, I was diagnosed and prescribed the meds I have from multiple doctors, psychiatrists, and psychologists. I'm crazy you see.

Wow, thats pretty bad. Sounds like you have a pretty mean genetic setup for ya. I'm with some pretty bad stuff myself, but its a much more subtle problem that actually just annoys a lot, and kinda messes with me a lot of the time. But hey, I can believe you got medical stuff to deal with, and that you need some meds.

I've always just kinda avoided them. Perhaps I'm off in the head, perhaps something can be done for the slight medical issue. I don't know, and I kinda don't care.

@Unusual: Yeah we just have bad luck with genetics.
A few days ago actually passed the 1st year since my cousin died from a rare genetic disease. The quick summary of what was wrong with him was that his lysosomes never worked. Lysosomes, if you don't know, are needed to remove wastes from your cells so that they are kept at a decent size. Because his never worked, his cells never got rid of the wastes and expanded to where they couldn't get enough nutrients. Soon because the cells needed the nutrients they started eating his bone marrow. The most amazing thing was that he lived to be 19 and most only survive to being 9 years old. Mainly it's also upsetting because he was a major Halo fan and would have been playing Reach right now.
@Scde2: Maybe your computer got rid of some broken files. They can scan while you sleep.
