If your life was a movie, who do you want to direct it?

Christopher Nolan. It would make my life a complex and deeply layered mind screw, filled with equally complex and screwed up characters.

Bay-splosions! I believe I have made myself clear. Also, Morgan Freeman would narrate and exchange witty banter with Stephen Fry.

Edgar Wright. He is an amazing directer. Just look at Shaun of the Dead and Scott Pilgrim.

I'm going to second Robert Rodriguez, because then my life would be filled with explosions, cool guys with machetes, and women with guns for legs.

Sofia Coppola, because she makes pretty movies. I want my life to look pretty. Or Jean-Pierre Jeunet, because then my life would appear to be a charmingly mangled mess of French awesomeness and wit. And hopefully it would make people smile. That'd be nice.

I don't know. Maybe Wes Anderson; I'd enjoy seeing my life movie directed by the guy who made Bottle Rocket.

Probably Quentin Tarantino.

It'd be full of hot girls, complex stories, foot fetishes and ninjas.

I would like it to be started off by the late Stanley Kubrick, and finished by Eli Roth. I feel like that would be the right mix of sweeping, elegant set piece shots with silly accents and lots of fake innards.

Luis Buñuel - because he could find the surreal in the mundane and make social commentary out of it.

David Lynch - because he could find the surreal in the mundane, make it more surreal and then have it end with a red room and crazy backwards talking people. Just like my house at Christmas.

Quentin Tarantino - because then my life would be full of awesome dialogue and pop culture references! UNlike my house at Christmas.... :(
