The phrase "Only in America" takes on a whole new meaning.

Seriously though, these fuckwits should be banned from the internet for life, they're obviously to fucking retarded to use it properly.

Isn't it amazing that those individuals speak for the whole of America.
Was there some sort of Facebook election where this was decided?
Is this your first contact with the internet or Facebook?
Some of the people on the net, just like in RL are assholes, deal with it, sheesh!

Wow...Thats bad, I noticed its all Men saying it? One woman quoted her brother from what I can see, gives the USA a bad name for such a nice country. I doubt winning is defined by taking a last resort option and dropping 2 Bombs onto civilian populated cities anyway, that's not winning, nobody wins in war really.

Its people like you who need to be kicked in the face for trying to fuck with someone job for what they say online... its fucking FB... Its ridiculous that you would do something like that.. What are you? The fucking internet police..? Damn.
While the person who said it was a moron, we do not know his financial situation, and making him lose his job that could cause his whole life to collapse is not a viable punishment for one unbelievably heartless comment.
To be fair I also work in an institution like Varangon Academy, and I actually meant what I said, he has no place working with children if he's going to spout shit like that when protected with the anonymity of the internet. I picked him for a reason, that place takes at risk youth and offers counseling, would you really want him working with a Japanese youth?

Concentration camps should be reopened, but with a new group of people as the victims...
The Escapists would be the judges.

Actually there are dozens of cases where people have said something like this online, been reported and fired for inappropriate conduct.

A good example i can remember was a carer at a residential home for the mentally handicapped commenting on facebook about having to deal with the 'spastics' (a very offensive term in the UK). the family of one of the residents saw the comments and reported them to the management, which ended in the termination of their contract.

What we say online is just as public as if we said it in person. Would you be comfortable knowing your employee had been shouting this filth in the streets? I would doubt it so why should it be different if he said it online?

I'm not proud to be an American. Even if they're just joking, I don't find it funny. Also, this is when we lose in a sport that we previously had no interest in.

Your example is a case where the offensive statement had a direct connection with the job at hand. I do not know if this guy works in a Japanese restaurant, awar museum or some sort of public spokesman job, but if not, his personal views (he probably doesn't even care, he's just a moron that shouted something moronic without second thought) should not interfere with his job.

I so agree!
also Japan and Germany surrendered. how is that a victory?
also the americans did not join the war until 1941 the war started in 1939(little late to the party). while other countries were getting the shit beaten out of them and having millions dying. America just prances in and says we will come and save the day!
I suggest you check this out:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lend-Lease

You have to understand that very few people knew early on of the atrocities the Nazi regime was committing. When World War II broke out, many Americans viewed it in the same light as World War I: a costly European conflict waged for no good reason.

Yes, the Allies would have most likely won the war even if the United States had never entered (Hitler's failed invasion of the Soviet Union cemented Germany's defeat, in my opinion), but it would have taken far longer and casualties would have been far higher (not to mention how much more horrific the Holocaust might have been).

Also, a military victory does not require the total destruction of an enemy combatant. Japan and Germany's ambitions were not only stopped, but reversed entirely. That is the goal the Allies set out to achieve, and they succeeded.

Back on-topic, this type of response is both stupid and pathetic. Not only is clinging to old war grudges stupid (Japan is one of America's closest allies nowadays), but the blatant racism in some of the comments is downright disgusting. On the other hand, may I kindly remind some of you that most Americans are not like this. Don't let a vocal, nutball minority color your perception of the country as a whole.

Oh look a place for pointless self-righteous replies about people that shouldn't even be acknowledged. Feels like spreading stupidity that will just continue the blanket generalizations that need to stop all over.

Can we just create a virus that kills mean people? I know, kind of hypocritical of me but if I had to die for that to work, I'd do it dammit.

Obviously he felt this way before he said what he said... Obviously he was hired on at said institute.. So obviously it doesn't affect how he handles things at his job. So because he said something crass an insensitive on the internet doesn't mean it should be reported to his employer... Fucking with someones job is complete bullshit.

Good job linking the idiotic actions of a handful of people to an entire country of 320 million people.

Cause nobody ever over reacts after losing a sports game across the world. Nope all the riots and shit, totally made up.

The world can be a racist, violent, ugly place if you want to look at it that way. I look at it differently, almost all idiots are only idiots about a handful of things, and for every idiotic point of view there are dozens of reasonable ones, and hundreds or thousands of apathetic people.

Each and every one of you has sounded like an idiot in the past, but I'm sure it feels great to feel superior and judgmental so don't let me stop you.
