PS2 or the PS1 will definitely be high up, since they brought gaming to more normal people and not just the geeks, although nowhere near as much as the Wii did.

This is bullshit. How many consoles have there ever been anyway? We're in the 7th generation of consoles and let's say there's an average of 5 consoles for each, that makes 35... Even if it's more like 50, the top 25 isn't much of a *Top*, just the upper half...

Keep in mind that the first generation had 1 console, 2 if you count both colours.

I'd say the PSone will be top, as it was the most influential between it, the PS2 and the N64. Though, I don't expect the top 5 to be devoid of the N64 and PS2 either.

Considering IGN's biased bullshit in the past I shouldn't be surprised.

I also won't be surprised when they name the 360 the best console ever. I'll be pissed, but not surprised

I hate lists like this. It all depends on what the people making the lists like and there will always be people who say "Why the fuck isn't console X on there?" Or "Why the fuck is console Y only 17?" Or something like that.

And I wonder if the Dreamcast will be on there.
