PS3 is really 15? Really? The first system to have Blu Ray and an Internet Browser powered by Java is only at 15? Fucking bullshit.

Considering IGN's biased bullshit in the past I shouldn't be surprised.

I also won't be surprised when they name the 360 the best console ever. I'll be pissed, but not surprised

At least I base my biased opinion on what has actually happened to me. IGN just does it because Microsoft probably pays them a lot of money to give them better reviews.

I went through 9 fucking 360s. 1 PS3 and I only had to buy another one because the fist was stolen. I believe I have the right at this point to be biased

I would argue the opposite. If anything IGN push the PS3 a bit more than the 360.

IMHO the top five they'll list are:

5.Gameboy
4.NES
3.Megadrive / Genesis
2.PS2
1.SNES

Really? How? The only thing I've ever seen is IGN constantly saying that everything is better on the 360.

If a game comes out on PS3 and 360, IGN will 99% of the time recommened the 360 version. I've only seen 1 where they didn't and that was for Batman Arkham Asylum.

What a terrible list. I suppose I might be able to understand throwing the Wii in a high place, but the 360? Why is the Gamecube even on the list at all? Why are a lot of those things on there?

My guesses are the average ones... 1. PS2 2. SNES

I think the list would have been better if the didn't have the current generation of consoles on there. Their full potential hasn't been reached, nor can anyone acurately say what their true influence on the industry is.

Regarding the actual list, while the XBOX 360 probably should be the highest ranked on the newer consoles, its placing is too high. There is no way that it should rank higher then the PS1.

Hell, why is the Wii almost at the top? Why is the PS3 so low, I don't even own a PS3 but seriously, THAT low?

The winner will probably be the Super Nintendo, or it will at least make 2nd with the NES at first.

Lol, you really don't like the PS3 coming 15th do you?. The last few posts of yours in this thread you keep going on about how your 9 xbox's died and how your PS3 goes strong. Even if that number believable (which it isn't, because it takes a special kind of person to buy a $400 console 9 times over) you still haven't addressed any of the issues why you think the PS3 is superior to the 360.

Now if build quality was a criteria assessed then I would definitely agree with you. That is not however, what IGN are looking into, it's (and I know this had been quoted to you for the umpteenth time) how far the console revolutionized gaming. You have to admit, the PS3 has not done very well there. So why?..why?..do you expect it to do better than the 360.

I own a Wii and I will freely admit that the 360 vastly is superior to the Wii. In some aspects the Wii is better and more fun but number 10 is all right. It did bring in motion sensor technology. The 360 had live and the PS3 had blue ray (which no one really buys).

Please don't take this as bashing or anything, I am just trying to understand why you keep saying the PS3 got bum rapped and accuse IGN of bias without either refuting the the arguments of others or bringing up evidance to support your claims. Have you calso onsidered that maybe why the PS3 games get lower reviews than the 360 ones because maybe the latter are better?. Or that most PS3 games are made as ports from the 360?.

OT: I am probably going to say the PS2 will take the number one spot. It is by far Sony's epic invention and it is still going strong.

Let alone the 50 that Guinness World Records came up with.
And... judging this is pretty hard as each generation is technically better than the previous one.

I didn't say they got "ass raped" I just don't think it should be that low. 360 has done absolute dick to revolutionize gaming and PS3 has done at least a little bit better. And the reason why I think its better than 360 is because its better hardware, better games, and better graphics. You can ***** all you want, but its true. 360 hasn't done anything to revolutionize gaming, their systems failure rate is absolutely ridiculous, and they have (at least in my opinion) crappy exclusives (which you can still get on PS3 or PC)

And, for the record, I didn't [i/]buy[/i] 9 360's. I paid for 2 of them and the rest were free replacments because they were still luckily in warranty. I still had to wait for a fucking month for it to get back though.
