Is it odd that I hated almost all the systems on that list and thought they were terrible?
If half that list died in a fire the world would be better off (no particular half, just roughly 10 systems or so).
I don't think any of the systems I own have broken other than a PS2 and it had way too many hours on it for me to bash it.
I didn't understand the allure of the PS3 until I recently grabbed a slim. There is something about the presentation of everything on it that is so satisfying. Likewise I find that all my 360 games are better on my PC anyways (mostly because they can actually be modded and once I'm done with them I can cheat on them). Likewise it wasn't until I owned a PS3 that I actually bought a digital game.
The microsoft point system is so unfriendly to me. I hate doing the conversion in my head since the points are not one for one. I get on the PSN and I see the exact dollar price (plus tax at checkout) of whatever I want. I like that. When I was in Japan I left thinking I was poor and ended up having 85 dollars in change because of dealing with their different currency system, that sort of stuff would happen in reverse on the Xbox Live marketplace, I'd figure I am only spending 5 bucks each time and forget its something like 7.50.
As for the Wii (again which I own) it does have small but solid collection of games, however on the flip side it has what...thousands of shovelware titles now? It's a shame that it is so easy to produce something on the Wii and have it sell.
For each current gen console I can think of roughly 5 games that I absolutely love and roughly 3-5 more that aren't too bad. The major negative for the 360 is that (I believe) every one of those games for it I already own on my PC. Maybe that's not a negative though, perhaps I should applaud companies for releasing them to both for convenience.

Yeah as I mentioned before I'm the only person of all my friends and colleagues who hasn't had to purchase a second 360. I do play mine less and it is a newer one so that might be it but it still is startling how many different people with different lifestyles had their consoles break.Julianking93 said:You're the first person to actually act rationally to this. I do have my view and that is PS3 is better, you have your's and that is 360's better, its your opinion, I know I can't change that so I'm not going to.
But as for the part about exclusives, almost all 360 exclusives are on PC and to name a game that's been proted to PS3 that was originally a 360 exclusive; Bioshock.
And the 360 failure rate has not been exaggerated. Its been confirmed that its 54.6% The console is good, I like the idea of a 360. I enjoy Gears of War (which I can get on PC) but that's the only exclusive I like. But the console it self is shit. The hard ware sucks, you can't deny that.
And, on a side note, why the fuck is the Wii at number 10????!!!
