I've already explained earlier in the thread why I stated that (though these sort of responses suggest why The Escapist appears to get somewhat regular troll visits) so I'm not going to do so again. It's not a "fair point" for the reason I stated in my original post.

Of course it's a stereotype, but stereotypes exist because there are a degree of young teens that act in the manner you describe - is that so difficult to understand?

I'm a 13-year-old boy who likes video games. No Halo or MW2, but Mario and Zelda. But, according to some, we are a race of loud-mouthed-XBox-loving-curse-flinging-homo-phobia-ing(?) idiots with no taste. I'm a little tired of this segregation between the two age groups.
In a wider sense, 13-year-olds on the internet are a problem too. All our videos on youtube apparently suck and we should GTFO because we are a waste of space.

To be honest I couldn't give a damn if you're furious or not; I've already explained my point further, despite it being fairly obvious, I'm not going to do so again (next time you're going to launch into some "moral high ground" rant at least read the whole thread before you do so).

Then again, the fact you're supporting someone using the words "GTFO" (no doubt if I were to say that someone would complain...) just makes you a hypocrite - regardless of your stance on the issue.

I meet plenty of children in the games I play. I have no bigotry towards any age group. However, most of your age group act in one of three ways.

1. They hit on my wife, whom usually plays in the same game as I do. This usually ends with me telling the kid to go fuck himself.

2. A constant stream of obscenities and ebonics. I either mute him or kick him.

Almost everyone in the preteen and early teen age group piss me off. Most of them just act like little shits to the point that it just drives me insane. As for online, I don't really know or care how old people are, because most of these kids don't usually tell people they are 13 or whatever.

Ok, first and foremost you should probably at least read what you're posting - this is nearly unreadable, certainly to the point I had to re-read to understand what you were going on about.

Secondarily, you don't seem to understand the point I made (I shouldn't be surprised, but then again I guess I'll make it perfectly clear so you don't have to think) so to help you out I'll post it in easy-to-follow bullet points:

. Firstly, the poster is asking about a somewhat argumentative issue, that often brings out mixed feelings in people.

. People would be lying if they they stated they didn't dislike people under the age of 16 online, such a comment has been posted many times on this site.

. However, in posting this they get comments like yours, complaining that they shouldn't say such a thing (because stating an opinion is wrong).

. Regardless, you'll find a few people willing to post their true thoughts, that there are a large group (and they must be large because everyone will have seen or heard at least one) of commonly entitled "13 year olds" on the internet that annoy everyone.

. This was the point I made in my post, the one you've tried (and pretty horribly failed) to try and counter-argue.

So, now you understand the way this thread has, and will continue to go.
