Spiders.
I wish I could bash them with a book. All of them. Fast and swiftly.
Gives me the shivers just to think of them.

Clowns. They freak me out SO MUCH. I almost punched one in the face in a panicked reaction when the college dining hall had a carnival day that I was unaware of until I turned a corner and BAM. Clown.

Life's too short to spend being afraid, so I'm not. I used to be really afraid of heights, until my parkour buddy taught me to fall, etc.

Large, -large- crowds, open water, and friggin' insects and spiders <-- them most of all. Actually, that fear, of Insects and Spiders, over time managed to develop into a hatred.

Heights, tight spaces, being buried alive, being eaten alive, drowning, most methods of death, grey asian children who meow, commitment, disappointing people...

Damn I'm a coward.

Fear of heights, certainly.

I discovered that half-way up Koln cathedral... not the best time.

Monkeys, ever since I was chased by a family of them who proceeded to sit outside the house we were staying in screaming and pissing on everything.

And clowns. The painted on smile terrifies me.

It looks as though it's controlling a puppet with it's spindly, little limbs...a horrible Marionette in the shape of the camera man who beheld it. I assume this photo was found by a fishing vessel which pulled up a deep-sea camera covered in claw marks, blood and, madness.

Even the point of view of the Octopus makes it seem as though it's mocking the viewer. It is as though it can see me through the camera. I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight or indeed come near any pier.

All joking aside, I love reading Lovecraft. I don't get afraid by the stories but the only times I've ever ever had nightmares had been after doing a lot of Lovecraftian reading. They were weird ass dreams too, as nightmares are wont to be.

Also where Death is concerned, I am more afraid of a very sudden, very violent death. I have a little fear in my mind when I'm in a car, sitting at a stop light or sign. Same when I'm sitting in a car in a parking lot (day or night). I once fell asleep listening to Himinbjorg (a Scandinavian metal band) and kept waking up, seeing dots and holes everywhere. Not on surfaces but in the air: in reality. It creeped the HELL out of me.

Where to start?

dogs. Bees. Wasps, horne- flying insects. Crawling insects. Spiders. Holding fish (more just disgust) all the creepy shit that lives near the sea, all the creepy shit that lives in the sea, the dark, failure (in life and social situations), uncleanliness, falling asleep on buses, missing my stop on a bus and not being able to return home, being alone on a bus, pain, attention (stagefright and just general attention), argh, I've got better things to do. In short, I'm pretty pathetic.

Spiders, pain, death, never getting laid, the dark, rejection, etc.

Easy to overcome with sufficient application of strong feelings. Like hate. Or anger. Or emo.

Large, submerged, man made objects. The thought of the underside of a boat or a house in a lake or a car in a river just makes me nauseous with fear. I seriously can't even type descriptions of that stuff without feeling awful.

There is technically no name for it, but the internet is loaded with threads on the topic...
It needs a name, I think.

Honestly not really afraid of anything. I can scare people with that.
It's kind of ironic cause I do have anxiety disorder..
