Meditation nothing better than actual meditation and centering yourself to combat many forms of stress/depression/anger. It also negates the hangovers, withdrawl, jail time of the drugs, booze, violence. And the wrist problems with chronic porn addiction.
Break out of your ruts, we all get stuck in a rut from time to time due to work, life stresses, family etc. Get back to the things that you used to love to do like hiking, jogging, basketball, whatever got you out of the house and out of your routine that maybe you just lost time to do or got too down to do.
Always keep in mind that no matter how bleak our lives seem there is always someone that has it worse, due to their health, living circumstances, or pure tragedy, and while our problems maybe seem huge to us a little perspective can go a long way to changing our minds to the reality of the world.
