Muse
Led Zepplin
Coldplay (unless you think 'oh their mainstream they must be gay')
Daft Punk
The Killers
Weezer
OutKast (if you wana try hip-hop)

And if your feeling really adventurous try Massive Attack and Radiohead.

That's all I've got for now.

Let's see, System of a Down is always great. Daron and John's side band, Scars on Broadway, is fairly good. A7X is decent, not great, not horrible. I saw you like Kamelot, good taste =). You should check out Pantera, Lamb of God, Five Finger Death Punch, and, for a little variety, Infected Mushroom.

Well, for something I like that is different from most of your list

And something I like similar to your tastes

Weird. I just came across CDs by both of those in my collection today.

Kaizers Orchestra definitely seem right up your alley, good sir. Even if you don't know any Norwegian

and Gogol Bordello

I'm a little bored right now, and curious into music.

Do any of you have any recommendations? And no, Furburt, I don't think I liked Kyuss that much(or I didn't listen to them. I forgot).

Bands I like: Poe, Dethklok, Rammstein, Eisbrecher, Shpongle, Marilyn Manson, Ensiferum, Kamelot, Santana, Austrian Death Machine, The Lillingtons, Svbway to Sally, hania [http://hania.newgrounds.com/audio/].

So please, give me some recommendations as to what you think is good music and/or what you think I'd like.
Korn?
But I would try something new like Kings of leon or such. Maybe maroon 5.

Well you clearly like metal thats for sure, if you want some NEW music then try 'Groove Me' by Maximum Balloon. Nice funky song.

Or this new band Everything Everything. They have some pretty cool tracks like MY KZ UR BF or Photoshop Handsome. I dunno I might get a butchering for trying to recommend this to metal heads. Trust me, I like Slayer and Metallica as much as the next guy but it always helps to open up your musical taste. :)

I loved Bak Et Hallelujah! But I kinda forgot who sang it, so it fell from memory.

Ever heard of The Protomen?

It's a Mega Man rock opera. You read that correctly.
...

*tearfully hugs you*

That was.... BEAUTIFUL!!!
If it appeals to you, I definitely recommend checking the rest out. Some truly great stuff.

Mastodon! Prog metal, but with less guitar-wankery and more crushingly brutal riffs.

Or Black Spiders, who are sort of like a slightly cleaner, modern Motorhead.

I just had an eargasm.

It was like Meat Loaf made a baby with the Sisters Of Mercy.
