I started drinking around that age. It's not something to be proud of but most of us survive.
Just leave them to it, all kids will start drinking either when they feel like they'd like to start or when they get pressured into it. Just make sure you start when you want to and not before.

They kind of do, I believe the worst punishment you can get for drinking under-age the first time is a £20 fine and that's only if the police officer is feeling really harsh and you were doing it in public. Of course buying alcohol for children is taken much more seriously if you're not the child's parent or guardian.Lilani said:A lot of people regard underage drinking casually, but the police do not.
Ok I guess this must be an American thing and if the guy I quoted earlier is also American I apologise, it must be much harsher over there. Here in the UK the owners of a house where under-aged drinking happens haven't committed a crime, especially if they were unaware of it. The police (if called) may tell them off for irresponsible behaviour and they may get in trouble with the other parents who would have to be informed but that's all.dkyros said:If you really want to do something, I would say approach the kid whose house it was at and tell him that his parents can get in shitloads of trouble if they get caught drinking there.
