Ever bought a game with no research into it or even that, an awareness of it's exsistance? Yesterday I bought the new MX vs ATV game just because I had credit on my reward card and because the box art was pretty eyecatching. And I can't say anything bad about it. Quite fun to be honest.

Anyway, you Escapiees?

Tony Hawk's Project 8. I had enjoyed Underground 1 & 2 but this sucked. The story ended right at the good part which completely ruined it for me, plus the maps sucked.

A ton when Gamestop did a 3 for 2 sale. Legion, The Bouncer, Dead or Alive 2 Hardcore.
I don't regret them.
However, I did impulse Lunar Dragon Song. That was a tragic mistake.

Foriegn Legion : Buckets of blood was only $1.49 during the Steam holiday sales.
Of course, I bought it just because. It was actually very fun and worth the money thensome.

Only one, it was Tales of Phantasia. Luckly I got a good game, but I don't really like to buy stuff on impulse anymore.

Hey look Far Cry is on sale for £2.49
despite the sequel making me want to tear out my eyes it's probably a good thing to buy!
Hey look Freedom Force (also Darwinia) is on sale for £2 with it's sequel, i ragequitted the single player demo because i didn't like it but it's well worth it now!

Jade empire, GTA4, STALKER shadow of chernobyl, King's bounty, Zombie Driver, Zombie Shooter 2 and the ENTIRE unreal collection I haven't even got round to playing (on all of these i played the opening then thought, nope, i'll come back to this later.) my one saving grace is that i have a job so i can actually afford all this mindless hoarding

on impulse i bought a game called robot warlords, biggest fucking mistake ever. played it once then said 'fuck this'.

Stumbled across Prince of Persia on the 360 and bought that too, though i don't regret that. Its a legendary game.

The last time I did that was about a year ago when I bought a little horror title called Extermination for the PS2. For a measly $4.89, I got more than my money's worth from that one.

I impulse bought Shadowrun.

After reading the back of the box, I said to the guy in the store, "Hey, this does have a single player bit, right?"
"Of course," he replied.

They don't let you return open games, naturally.

I love my impulse buys, WC3 RoC + FT, Orange Box, Rome Total War and Fable TLC were probably the best choices I ever made. I didn't even know about them or how popular they were when they came out so I'm glad now that I got them.

My brothers on the other hand have and aweful impulse buy list:
Two Worlds (the worst, nuff said)
Soul Caliber [something] (It isn't bad it's just said to them they wouldn't like it. After the first day they stopped playing)
Tenchu Z (it's probably their best choice, quite fun online if you get into it)
Every Sims 2 game, Castaway, Pets etc.
The list goes on and on.
