I'll be going into Navy basic in either a year or when I graduate high school, depending how this whole thing works out on my end. After that, I go into Basic Underwater Demolition School (BUD/S) training to join the Special Entry and Amphibious Landing teams. NAVY SEALS!

-Don't take the drill sergeant's anger seriously or personally, he's there to be a 24/7 roidrager but it's all a scam

-Take the drill sergeant's threats seriously, despite what's said above, he still will rip off your head and shit down your neck if provoked

-Never laugh at a drill sergeant's chewing-out of another recruit, whatever punishment the other guy gets, yours will be double

-What happens in the navy, stays in the navy, so STAY OUT OF THE NAVY.

-If ordered on a suicide mission, shoot your CO. Command officers are chickenshits who expect others to die for them.

-Don't drop the soap in the shower.

PS from me--- Eat all the food you can get. I did a weeks sea time on a ship and kept up my normal eating habits. I was rather weak on the second day. Get seconds at all times if possible
