Worst game I have ever played?
I know I'm gonna take flak for this, but Half-Life 1. I played the Orange Box, loved it and decided to play Half-Life 1 to get the backstory. Oh dear God. That game had the pacing of an old man with a walker walking across the country, the story was practically incomprehensible (I was able to get Half-Life 2's story completely) and the game JUUUSSSSTTT DRRRRUUUGGGG OOOOOOONNNNNN!!!!
In my humble opinion, the only thing that was good about Half-Life was that it paved the way for Half-Life 2. That's it.

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned it yet, so I'll do it.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2006.
I've been a lifelong Sonic fan (I even enjoyed HALF of Sonic Unleashed), but this game just felt like a betrayal of everything Sonic was, even after he went to 3d (which I don't think was as much of a failure as everyone keeps saying).
It was slow, it was laggy, the plot was incomprehensible, many parts of the story-gameplay were unnecessary, the character of Silver was a fucking joke, the character of Elise was a fucking abomination, the loading times were absolutely colossal, the soundtrack wasn't up to much, aaaaannnd that's about it.
I will say one thing in it's favour though: Best. Eggman. Ever.
I played a demo at a gamestop and it was completely uncontrollable. I played it for less than five minutes and I didn't like it. X-P
I think one of the best Sonic games (this is just me, though) was Sonic Adventure for the Dreamcast. Perhaps the voice acting might have not been great, but the soundtrack was fantastic and, back in 1999, the graphics were totally out of this world!
Also, I hate how they started calling him "Eggman". He will always be Dr. Robotnik to me. Actually, in Sonic Adventure, Eggman was an insult ... so now he goes by that name? Ugh. Also, which sounds more vile and evil: Dr. Eggman or Dr. Robotnik?
I rest my case.
