Do I Win? Although I still really, really, really, really, REALLY want to say Front Mission Evolved.... I hate that game so much.. I would rather play "drink the stuff under the sink" than load up that game ever again.
I thought people weren't allowed to mention it. It isn't even a Fallout game, except for the name.
Yes it's a taboo to mention THAT game But I figured I would anyways. And yes the only Fallout thing about that game is its name

Rouge warrior. I hated it
I heard Rogue Warrior was pretty shit too.

OT: GTA IV was the first thing that came to mind. Its not the worst I've ever played, obviously, but considering its reception and how prolific it is... its crap.

Worst game ever, it was the final stake into a character I loved growing up and it downright lied to me.

Steps to making the game bad:

1. Putting Sonic in a 'meaningful' relationship with a human being (I am one for hentai but not with sonic in it)
2. Amy Rose
3. Rouge the Bat
4. Hardly any knuckles missions
5. Silver is too slow, fun, but too slow.
6. Controls sucked
7. Never have pre-rendered cut-scenes that were good enough and bad enough to convince me that the rest of the game had them, also don't just make 3 of them.
8. Piss-poor acting
9. Broken bosses
10. Advertisements say something about using the force of nature. I never saw that.
11. Shitty Graphics
12. Upgrades to sonics boots but no-one else?
13. Shadow the Hedgehog
14. Blaze the Cat
15. Silver was kinda okay, but they hardly gave him anything useful to do other than mope (To kill ONE person to save 6 billion, thats what you are concerned about)
16. Failed potential at fun fights
17. Everyone knows whats going on despite the world exploding, and they are the ONLY survivors
18. Still calling the bad guy Eggman
19. LOADING SCREENS UP THE ASS
20. Using music correctly in only one part (The final boss). The rest was piss poor and annoying.
21. Sonic the hedgehog has to be a super hero and save everyone in the city from robots that are not there until I talk to some a-hole.

I have a fucking novel based on problems with this game.

I would like to read this novel.

personally I have to say Xenosaga. I generally like jrpgs, but I couldn't make it more than a few hours into this one.
It wasn't bad (the boss battles are nice), but it wasn't special either. The only reason I got the game was because of Albedo.

As for worst game I've played, probably Deadly Towers. Man is that game slow. Too many hidden rooms, the weapon discharge is slow as molasses and enemies can kill you faster than you can say "Flagstaff".

Final Fantasy 13. May not be the worst made game I've ever played but it was certainly the most miserable gaming experience I've ever had.

Borderlands. Ther is nothing good about this game, even the initially nice graphics look boring after about half an hour. CoD managed more than that. The combat is dull, hte interfaces are unintuitive, it has one gameplay element, the story is about as deep as a dustbin lid and even then, that has more uses. I could beat it by just shouting at it a lot because I have a lot of abuse for it to recieve. All round a terrible game and it made me the cynic that I am today.
I agree with everything you just said, I HATE this game, it was just like "go to the same area you went to 5 minutes ago, fight the same enemy you fought the last 1333 times, find a worse weapon than you have. Die"

Black Ops was horrible.
The story made no sense and was as predictable as the setting sun. The multiplayer, on the other hand, is dominated by people who spend their days pwning noobs (like me).

Yahtzee already beat me to it by saying Too Human. I couldn't play that piece of shite for more than 40 minutes.
I guess Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard would be #2. I haven't played that many bad games. This game is just dull with occasional good bits (the voice acting, some of the jokes, the water guns, and the 2D Wolfenstein enemies). It felt as generic as the games it was making fun of

Digimon World 4. That budget price tag was not enough to warrant how horrible the game was. Oh, and Mario Kart Wii. I hate that game. No, not a lot of people understand why, but I cannot help foaming at the mouth whenever I see it. Most disappointing game I've ever played is FFXIII, since I actually bothered to beat it and got nothing out of my 60 hours of effort.

Dragon Age 2

Only because I loved the original one so much, and the sequel was basically everything I liked about the original removed and made mediocre.

It's also one of the only games i've ever played where the combat was so repetitive that I got a literal headache and had to take an aspirin after playing for more then an hour.
Ahhh, yea, Dragon Age II stands out as a terrible video game, though only in the light of its much better predecessor. I would venture to say that it would be only mediocre if it was a different IP. It would have felt less stripped of greatness and just more, boring, I guess.
Most new IPs tend to get better funding and advertising budgets then cash in sequels like Deus Ex Invisible War and Dragon Age 2. If it was a new IP I guarantee it would have hired a better character writing staff and actually hiring a mapping department to remove all the copy-pasta areas.

i have trouble naming the wost i have ever played but one that i still with i never payed the $12 for was sonic 06. or maybe anything on psp....
Hey dude don't diss the PSP it has some really great titles; Persona 3 PSP, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, the 2 Dissidias, great ports of Final Fantasies and Disagea, Crisis Core, Tactics Ogre, Patapon, Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker and Portable Ops and not to mention the ability to get PS1 originals on the thing.

Yeah there's some terrible games and the analogue stick does suck but if you love true RPGs the PSP is gold.

And for the people who are saying Call of Duty, grow up, you can't deny that they are well designed games and no where near the worst of anything. Sure you may not like them, I don't like them much anymore, but worst games? Get off the bandwagon and pull your head out of your behinds.

I own ET for the Atari 2600 [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DTjLG3usQo#t=2m08s]. It still works.
'nuff said, I think.

I was thinking about trying to find a ROM of Action 52, just to say I played it, once... but there was too much effort involved just to play the worst video game in history, so I scrapped the idea.

Hmmm. Tough one. Haha I'll go with the same answer I always give: Resident Evil 4. For lots of reasons. Also... TWO FUCKIN WORLDS. I can't believe it even got onto shelves. Why couldn't anybody see how bad it was before they started selling it? I can't imagine any kind of 'officially certified' game-tester letting something that awful just pass by. Then some sick bastard even had the gall to compare it to Oblivion.

Then... there was SOMEHOW a sequel.

Usually when you see someone laughing their ass off and simultaneously crying tears of anger, it indicates insanity. But there's a strong possibility that it could mean they just played their first hour of Two Worlds.

Hahaha mounted combat was something I've never done in a video game before so that's cool I guess. It was still clumsy though... :p

For shame, South Peak... For SHAME
What exactly did you hate about Resident Evil 4? I'm a SH fan and for the most part resent the RE series (see above), but RE4 felt like a great game to me.

Then again, the plot...
Hmmm... Kinda hard to answer. The acting, Ashley, inability to move while shooting, Ashley, some (not all) of the quick time events shouldn't have been in there, Ashley, that silly little Captain Crunch midget look-alike, Ashley, puzzle keys, Ashley, and having to wait for a prompt to jump or climb stuff. OH, and that girl you have to protect. The President's daughter? I forgot her name :p

It's not all bad though. I liked most of the art and a lot of the scenery was amazing. All of the bosses were interesting and the enemies had a good variety. It's a game I have more fun watching people play than playing myself :)

Gothic 3 on PC

Wouldn't run well on my crysis able pc. laggy, woeful combat and an inability to aim at things. Then i left the town with no idea where to go and was immediatly savaged by a pack of about 20 wolves....

lord of the ring: Conquest. The game was just a midevil rip off of battlefront with hardly any work or detail put into it!
