Eh... there was one really good scene-the one in the basement tavern/bar. That was very enjoyable and tense. The Nazi detective was played really well too. But the rest of it was really lackluster and, to some extent, sickening.

What's your opinion of it?
What gore? Oh you mean the slight gore between the long dialoge, it wasnt that bad. I personally really enjoied it. I really liked all of it except for the part where the british spy died. I didnt like 20 minutes they spent on it.

Really liked how the way he signed for 3 on his fingers gave it away. Plus the fact they used the languages was a major plus.
Welcome to the escapist btw.

I truthfully thought that Brad Pitts accent made the movie funny as hell. I could not stop laughing when Hans started talking to Brad Pitt in Italian.

I didn't like it. Not enough Nazi killing to satisfy my blood-thirsty needs.

Also, I hated how everyone in the movie miraculously spoke English.

"Oh, I assume you speak english?"

"Yes, I do, despite being a French Jew."

(But then again, after what happened to Hitler, was I really expecting realism?)

Still didn't like it though.

I personally found it to be a let down. I felt like I kept walking in and out of different movies. And yeah....Brad Pitt's accent made my ears bleed. It was good for a one dollar rental, but I'll never watch it again.

it was a good show with some very fine performances, but I don't know if (due to the foreign film aspect i.e. multiple languages) it will have the same just pop in the player and watch feel as most of the rest of QT's movies.

I refuse to read all the previous posts on account of being drunk.

I really enjoyed IB.

Granted it is very much another "Tarantino doing a b-movie take on a well-known genre, but fuck if it aint cool.

As always his dialogue is brilliant and the soundtrack is superb, it's funny but dark and I thoroughly enjoyed it. (The bit with the strudel/cream was the tensest thing I've seen in the cinema in years). So yeah, I loves it, it was better than Kill Bill but not as good as True Romance. (Which is, if you ask me, the best thing he ever wrote).

On another note... i fucking love the Pogues.

One of the greatest social commentaries that I've ever experienced.

Tarantino never disappoints, I absolutely loved it.

I really loved it. I'm glad Cristoph Waltz got his well-deserved Golden Globe for playing that psychotic german colonel, too.

I liked it, although it wasn't what I was expecting based on the trailers.

But, if I have to hear Brad Pitt try to fake a Southern accent one more time, I'm going to go berserk.

Better than average, but not great. It was reasonably entertaining to watch, but mostly not very memorable.

Loved it. Loved it loved it loved it.

It baited my curiosity but didn't fuck around with needless filler, it made me laugh even in places I wasn't sure I should laugh, it had a healthy splattering of brutal violence without having to put it in every scene and some twists that, while not entirely distant from being figured out, kept me pondering anyway. Finally, Christoph Waltz's acting was incredible. He played the most charismatic villain I have ever seen in a movie, so much that I struggled to pay attention to other characters when they were on screen at the same time as him.

For me I'd say it's nearly on par with Pulp Fiction. Anyone else think that Tarantino is speaking through Aldo Raine at the end?

I'm shocked to find that some people have stated there was too much talking.. in a bloody Tarantino film? Just.. I'm speechless, you fellas should just stick to watching the Transformers movies.
