Hah, I have a problem with blood pressure.
Why is this important?
Well, I can get random nosebleeds.
Coupled with high blood pressure this amounts to turned on anime character nosebleeds.

Sometimes this leads to embarrassing situations though, so maybe I should shut up.

But yeah, I've gotten them a lot. My theory: there is an infinitesimally small chance that for absolutely no reason, a particle can cease to exist (quantum physics), so maybe you're really really unlucky and several of those particles composing you have just ceased to exist?

If so, there's a possibility you may wink out of existence by the time you read this post.

Have a nice, calm day.
That's absolute bullsh
Actually it isn't.
And that's in quantum physics.
You've overcome these odds before.
There was a very small chance that past circumstances led to your existence at all.

But seriously, there's probably a different reason. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Necrosis]

Was a joke proving your statement. I ceased to exist mid-sentence, yet remained able to hit the post button.

The reason those people were making emo jokes is because they assumed the wounds were self-inflicted. Perhaps they are?

Do you live with anyone/thing that may have a reason to hate you/sneak into your room late at night and cut you?

Not really. I tend to notice when I start bleeding ("hey, where's that liquid coming from.. oh, it is my blood!"), and I also tend to find the source/reason to this (not me in 99% of the cases, so don't call me emo). No wounds go unexplained here if they at first appear.

Everyone in my house, neighbourhood, state, country, hemisphere, planet, star system, universe, dimension and reality.

But apart from that, no...

Sure. Once in 5th grade my teachers nearly freaked out 'cause blood was running all over my arm from a cut on my hand. I didn't even notice I was bleeding till I looked at my hand and was like "Well would you look at that!"
They brought me to the nurse while the teacher told me "Don't look, don't look!" but I did anyway. I was really inntrigued how so much blood could poor from my hand without me even feeling it. Strange, very strange. Has never happened to me since either.

hmmm maybe you drift off into sleep for fractions of a second and Freddy Krüger starts on you?
But i guess you have some sort of skin problem that makes you cut easy...prolly just some missing vitamin or something in your diet^^ Did you maybe eat a lot less recently...read that a lot of ppl have nutrition problems after getting an gastric bypass since the food skips the duodenum...or maybe your body just processes the food wrong

On topic though I there has been a few times that this has happened to me. It makes you think, "WTF did I do?".

Lets stick to science for our explanation to this strange occurrence, shall we? God almighty, Gillian Anderson would despair at you apparent nerds...

It's easily explained. Dark matter makes up 90% of the universe, and when it passes through your body it gives you cuts. Usually these are too small to ever notice, but when you get clumps of dark matter (known as clots) these can cause visible tearing of the skin and possible slight bleeding...

Ah, I can't carry on with this shit, that was all BS. You got those cuts and scraps when you were drunk, just like everyone else :p

I have gigantic scars on my back and I have no idea where they came from. It looks kind of like somebody got a knife and cut up my back whilst I was asleep.

Are you Nick Griffin?

If not, buy a BIG ALSATION. That will solve all your problems (unless you have the aforementioned "thing" inside you trying to claw it's way out, in which case you will also be mauled by the dog).

I blame gremlins... not just for mysterious wounds, but for everything. you know; I blame them for the ugly people I have to look at at work, the morons who insist that they have something valuable to say when all they are really doing is being an oxygen thief, the current state of the economy. More or less everything. Life goes much smoother once you know where to dump the blame. :)

damn gremlins... /hate
