This happens to me occassionally, generally around noon or when I'm asleep. They just appear. Part of me thinks I may be a werewolf or something and I masquerade around while I'm sleeping.

Also I scar UNBELIEVABLY EASILY. Seriously, I tend to scar from mosquito bites, and last time I counted (about three months ago) I had over 50 scars, most of them on my hands and arms. It's really weird!

Also I have a ton of scars and constantly peeling skin on my chest and back which I didn't even bother counting. I'm not sure why the skin is like that, maybe I just have bad skin or something.

Hah, I have a problem with blood pressure.
Why is this important?
Well, I can get random nosebleeds.
Coupled with high blood pressure this amounts to turned on anime character nosebleeds.

Sometimes this leads to embarrassing situations though, so maybe I should shut up.

But yeah, I've gotten them a lot. My theory: there is an infinitesimally small chance that for absolutely no reason, a particle can cease to exist (quantum physics), so maybe you're really really unlucky and several of those particles composing you have just ceased to exist?

If so, there's a possibility you may wink out of existence by the time you read this post.

Have a nice, calm day.
Its true but for it to be noticeable it would take billions upon billions of those particles to cease existing and if that what's causing it you are without a doubt the unluckiest person in the universe or God/Physics hates you because the odds of one particle in your body suddenly disappearing is like a billion to one.
Or you might roll over in your sleep and cut yourself on something nearby.

Not really random cuts, but I do get searing pain in my thigh sometimes. It feels like someone is applying pressure to my thigh with a lit matchstick or cigarette.

You should probably have that checked out because that could be tumour or nerve damage.

I once had a giant nail in my heel for half an hour and I didnt realise until my sister told me. Then i was pretty much was gasping for air and in complete pain. Thank god It didnt hit anything major but I know what you mean with random scratches and stuff. They appear all over my hands and chest for almost no reason.

Maybe something from inside your body is trying to escape.
You sir! are not helping me or this person get a good night's sleep!
What is the fabled sleep you speak of?
Indeed. I remember having some of that mythical "sleep" thing when I was younger. Perhaps what passes for "sleep" nowadays are those times when I just faint for 4 hours out of pure tiredness.
What about when you pass out drunk? Does that count?

do they have sharp edges ?
I'm a nail biter, they are usually very short.

Also, glad to see the thread kept going after I crashed.

Y'know how it is, you scratch an itch, you walk a few metres, then all of a sudden someone faints.
Turns out that 'itch' was a very thin layer of skin over a mothertruckin' artery, and you now have a lot of blood running down some part of you.
Or even worse, the 'Copperfield Cuts,' where you look at the back your hand for a second, then *BAM* you see a cut that wasn't there eight seconds ago.

During work last week, I was talking to a co-worker (Don't worry Aaron, I won't say your name.) he noticed a fresh cut my wrist, and I spent the rest of the night listening to emo jokes, (not really that bad in general, but his jokes were bloody terrible.)

I then proceeded to go to school this week, with various nicks and cuts appearing on my body, scaring the hell out of the people I was talking to.
By this afternoon I thought someone had placed a damn voodoo doll curse on me or something.
(Fess up, you won't die painfully.)

But has anyone else had this? Random cuts or nicks appearing on your body? 'Cause the people I hang out with are freaked.

I also think I made a pun somewhere in my post.

well maybe you're just scratching yourself in your sleep or without noticing.
Nails can be razor sharp and can cut you quite deep.

No, but I do tend to get bruises that I don't know where they come from. This might be explainable if I were an athlete, but I'm a couch potato.

Have a nice, calm day.
That's absolute bullsh
Actually it isn't.
And that's in quantum physics.
You've overcome these odds before.
There was a very small chance that past circumstances led to your existence at all.

But seriously, there's probably a different reason. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Necrosis]
but to create a cut that would mean an almost infinite ammount of particles to cease to exist simultaneously, so yes, its bullshit.

How did you not get this?
Or are you just busting chops today?

and ultimatelly to the original poster obviously.
Nothing related to your necrosis theory (which makes no sense)
How can you not get that?
Or are you just busting chops today?

I was on a trampoline once and my right temple started bleeding like mad. I mopped off the blood and there was just a tiny mark, like a mozzie bite, strange.
