Dying alone.

It's irrational because it's going to happen. I can't change it, so there's no reason to fear it.

I have paranoia and am really creative. Not a day goes by that I'm not worried about something totally impossible hunting me down and killing me.
Same here, also when im going up stairs i get really scared of ghosts getting me.
sort of the same thing, mostly if the basement is dark and im going up to the well lit upstairs, im afraid of something behind me. same thing on lonely roads.

Would fearing bees and wasps count as irrational? Because I find them really scary!
Ditto this one, I was stung when I was young and have been afraid of them since.
I'm also irrationally afraid of the Slender Man, though that's starting to let up a bit now.
Double Ninja'd!!

Same both, I got a wasp in my ear as a kid. It went in backwards, you can imagine how that turned out.
I also hate The Slender Man...
He's like an evil Santa, sneaking into your room at night. I've found he gets less scary once you start drawing pictures of him, it gives a sense of control over it.

Great, I was about to sleep, too...

Good point though. Thanks :)

Anytime, my good man. :) Remember, fear is the mind killer, once you control it, it cannot hurt you.

Cookie to anyone who gets the reference in that last sentence.

That's a good quote.

Only stung?
When i was a kid i was walking in the woods and accidentally put my foot through what i thought at the time was a molehill, as it turns out it was a hole with a hornet's nest buried at the bottom. Needless to say i got swarmed.

I don't know if it's fear, exactly, but flying insects of most any sort. It's not so much the bugs themselves as much seeing them but not hearing them (zzzz?) or hearing them (ZZZZZ!) but not seeing them. Happens often these days, (summer, to be specific) making me further question the reality I'm familiar with.

If that doesn't count, dark-haired girls.

Whats your irrational fear? I have two: I have an irrational fear of teddy bears brought on by Flippy. Oh god where to start with Flippy....

And second (and this one is hardly irrational): I fear Australia. There isnt a thing in Austrailia that cant kill you. And there isnt a thing in Austrailia that isnt trying.
I've lived in Australia my entire life and I've never once come across a shark, snake, deadly spider, crocodile or even drop bear so that's a very irrational fear.

In terms of mine I get very creeped out by those old baby dolls, spiders, the thought of house fires and heights.

I have a total fear of belly button lint/fluff. Not my own, though.

I have a 'philia' of midgets though. It's insanely cruel, I know, but whenever I see a dwarf on TV or in real life, I am forced into bouts of laughter and giggles and muffled cries of 'look at it walk, look at it walk!' I am fully aware of how unfair this philia is when they're not around, but as soon as I see one, I can't help myself.

OT: don't really have any irrational fears...but i have a serious fear of losing my sight..which was not helped yesterday by the eye doctor telling me he saw the beginning of a retinal detachment in my eye >.< (luckily turned out to be an infection, so no surgery, just some medication for a while)
