Baldur's Gate 2, once again. Damn you, Irenicus! Lesee... In the middle of another Final Fantasy 6 run, as well as Chrono Trigger... I have a lot of RPGs to goof around with.

In anticipation of the new Golden Sun game coming out for the DS, I've started replaying the second GBA game, as well as starting to replay Fire Emblem: the Sacred Stones just for the heck of it.

What I want to know is, has anyone else given in to the hankering to dust off an old copy of anything, and if so, what?
My friend, roughly 90% of my gaming is "old games" and about 90% OF the 90% is "replaying" either completed and restarted, or paused and resumed.

With the non linear way the series is with the time travel it could work for an ending but I want to see how things work out with the major developments that happen at the very end.
True, true. Although since that game Tony Jay has died and no one else will give the tentacle horror (It's been a while so I forget what it's called) as great a voice.
Yeah, they would totally have to make up some plot thing to explain the difference in voice, since no one is going to be able to replicate that. It was so distinctive.

I revisit Deus Ex every now and again, and I plan to play Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines once I've figured out how to get the game to run properly on a 64-bit system.

Not at the moment, no. However, today when I was rummaging through some old boxes I came across my father's old floppy disc of Frontier Elite two so I'm planning on booting that sucker up later.

As a matter of fact. I just hooked up my SNES. I've been playing NBA JAM, and will soon start Breath of Fire and Chrono Trigger and Secret of Mana. I've been hankering for a good RPG and no one makes them anymore. So I gotta go old school for my fix.

Ah yeah, it's fucking great. It's a one of kind game. I don't really understand why vampire RPGs in an urban setting aren't made more often. you can catch it on steam but be sure to patch it with the Unofficial patch 7.2 (or if a newer version has been released).
7.2? Son of a *****, I'm only running 7.0. What's 7.2 change?

OT: Last game I played that could really be considered old is Tony Hawk's Underground.

I have Black Ops which I have only put about 6 hours in- including multiplayer- and I also have Fable 3- Which I have not touched.

So yeah, my plates full. This is the first time I have had new games in 6 months. Ironically when I finally manage to splooge the cash I have no time to play them.

Edit: yes, I said Splooge.

I dusted off my PS2 and played a bit of the original Fatal Frame tonight. If I can grow a pair between now and the bedroom, I'd like to keep playing it.

I never played Earthbound, but I've been thinking about it recently.

Apparently CoD BlOps includes a copy of Zork, so I was inspired to go dig a copy out of a dusty corner of the world.

That counts as sufficiently old, right?
