I've been replaying Ocarina of Time on and off for about half a year now, whenever I'm not distracted by a newer game...

I've been replaying Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne. I have yet to complete the game and the lack of any other SMT game this fall has caused me to fall back on it.

Quest for Glory from the early 90's. Good games. It's got soul--there's all these extra details that the developers didn't -need- to add, but were added anyway because the game makers were having fun. That's something I like in a game.

Oh, yeah, and I downloaded Paper Mario on the Wii, and the Banjo-Kazooie games on the Xbox. I mean, ten years ago for most of them. They have some nostalgia value (I'm going to be 24 in a couple of months, which is why I'm old enough to want to replay PC games from the early 90s).

Apart from that, I'm just rebuilding profiles on the 360. I had played Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, and Bioshock on my old roommate's 360, and then he took it with him. With the help of a job, I got my own 360. As he pointed out, any game he makes in Mass Effect will be fun to play what with all the shield and health and weapons bonuses I unlocked for him.

I'm all about replaying old games! In fact it would be note worthy if I were playing a new one. Here's a list that no one is interested in:
Super Mario World
Zelda Wind Waker
Pokemon

Huh, they're all Nintendo, neat!

Sweet, TLA is an awesome game :) I've replayed it a few times myself.

OT: I will never stop replaying Freelancer. It is my absolute favorite game. I have never found a game I've enjoyed more.

I'm currently continuing all my Pokemon games (all generations) as well as replaying Starwars Battlefront II. I frequently replay Mario games too. Specifically Super Mario World.

Starcraft and Total Annihilation at the moment. When they first came out I just played online with friends and made maps to play together, never even bothered with the single-player.

In anticipation of the new Golden Sun game coming out for the DS, I've started replaying the second GBA game, as well as starting to replay Fire Emblem: the Sacred Stones just for the heck of it.

What I want to know is, has anyone else given in to the hankering to dust off an old copy of anything, and if so, what?
Nice selection! I actually just started playing Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon (its my first time playing any Fire Emblem game. Now I know who the feck Marth is), and several other games I missed on the DS.

Oh also I'm playing the new Lufia 2 remake. Lufia 2 was one of my top 5 favorite SNES games of all time, and I'm really getting a nice nostalgic feeling playing it on the DS.

Crimson Skies on Xbox.
My nephew was visiting, & I popped it in since it was one of the few kid friendly multiplayer games I have. It got me hooked again.

Sometimes I'll also play Risk II & Star Trek: Armada on my PC. I'd play Black on Xbox from time to time, but EVERY time my 360 needed repaired, for some reason my Black save would get corrupted. I got sick of beating the game over & over to unlock those silver weapons with unlimited ammo. (I luvs me my infinite ammo rocket launcher. =D )

Midtown Madness 3......I fucking love that game....
I do hope you've gotten to enjoy Midtown Madness 1 & 2. I absolutely loved them, but I couldn't get into MM3. IIRC, MM1 is for Windows 98, & MM2 works on Windows 2000 & XP. (The car mods were pretty cool too.)

Holy Crap, someone who not only knows what cultures is but plays it as well. Awesome.

I just recently reinstalled Tropico 2... again. I play alot of "old games" often. The top ones are:

Arcanum
Tropico 1
X-Com: UFO Defense/Enemy Unknown

Baldur's Gate. I am pretty much always playing the Baldur's Gate series cause they are awesome.

Also, Lufia 3 for Gameboy Color since they recently released a version for one of the other ones for the DS and it reminded me of 3. 3 was always my favorite since it was so amusing!

I've been spoiled by recent games and trying to play an older game is rather hard for me.

That said, I replayed Starcraft for the 6th time about 2 months ago.

Currently trying to play through Planescape: Torment for the first time (yes, the first time), but having grown up playing RPGs, I've burned out of the genre and usually drop them before I finish them.

Still, I wish I had the handheld consoles to properly play some remakes of older RPGs.
