The world is apparently always in downturn, apparently... I mean we've been going down for a while and yet we have nothing to stop at, yet.

We may be doomed, in the future(far future mind you). But chances are we'll spring back.

Don't look at the things affecting the generation, look at the generation itself.

...Scary, ain't it?

I mean, who wants to see ME in a place of power?

Is the world going down the shiter to never stop or is their light at the end of the tunnel?
This sounds no different to every generation of the last 60 years.

Are we screwed?
In a word, no.

Oh bleh, we've been through them before.

WW3 inevitably auround the bend
I doubt that because of the emergence of
Terrorism
Nuclear threats
As a new kind of war. Direct battles have been recognised not to really work.
National disagreements
Always had these.
Housing forclosers
See quote 1. This quote caused that quote.

We'll be fine.

I predict when humanity has reached its darkest hour, everyone will go mad and kill each other.

Then, the still sane survivors will work hard to create a utopian society and defend their efforts by shotgunning crazed looters.

There is possibly light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe we are already at the end of the tunnel, and we are going back in.

Maybe it is not even a tunnel. Maybe it's a well.

With a nice lil' bucket.

Don't worry, every generation has its doubts.
This is no different to any other, we should be fine.
Unless of course the environment decides to finally pack up and leave.
Especially the WW3 thing, remember the cold war?

I agree that we will all begin a nuclear war soon. Thankfully, I'm building a bunker with my awesome gold plated solid diamond-hookers. (Told you they had a use.)

Your probably not invited, but you could stand outside the door or something.

We'll be fine. Cheer up! :)
The human race has never been "fine."

At best we've been mediocre.

We're like a person who can barely swim, trying desperately to keep our head over so that we don't drown and every so often we go down and take in some water.
