So it's hard for me to hear over and over how awesome TF2 is without getting the chance to play it. I'm a console gamer, and even if I wanted to switch to PC gaming, my main computer is (always has, and always will be) a Mac. The one thing that stinks about that is that it doesn't have the ability to play many games the PC can (i.e. Steam).
Either last summer or the summer before, I rented The Orange Box for 360 mainly because I wanted to play Portal. I loved it. I tried a bit of Team Fortress 2, though, and found it terribly laggy - unplayable laggy. I was disappointed and eventually returned the rental without so much as a second thought.
But the more I hear about the game, the more I can't help but want to go back and give it a second shot. However, I'm afraid that most of the enticing stuff - the solid gameplay, all the patches and additions and whatnot that keep it going - are all on PC. Is this true? And even if it is, is the 360 version still worth it?
