While they no longer exist my two favorite developers were Origin and Sir Tech (Ultima and Wizardry respectively). Origin got bought out and ceased to be.

Of current developers, I can't say there are any I consider perfect because most of the "best" ones generally don't make the kinds of games I like. I guess I'd have to give it to Bioware as I can't think of any of their games I've disliked off the top of my head and every one of their RPGs so far has been a winner.

As much as I like WoW, I have mixed opinions about Blizzard. I'm not a huge RTS fan, but I did think Diablo and World Of Warcraft were cool, and admittedly I have logged more than a few hours with Warcraft 3 and Starcraft. THQ's "Warhammer 40k: Dawn Of War" games being the only other ones I've gotten into RTS wise despite trying things like "Command and Conquer".

Bungie, I have yet to have played a game by them that I didn't like and their dedication to their fanbase is something to be admired.
Also Bioware definetly and Bethesda.... so essentially the three 'B's.

Bethesda, Bioware, Bungie have never failed me...

Truth...

Blizzard, Bioware, Valve...

... and Bungie *duck*
If you don't like them, that's your preference.

INSOMNIAC GAMES. I have loved them since I was a kid playing my first PSX game, Spyro the Dragon. I even enjoyed Ratchet: Deadlocked despite the sudden genre shift.

I wish I could say Kojima Productions, but fuck MGS4 and its passive aggressive hate of its fandom. Every other game Kojima and his team did, I loved.

Clover was amazing while it lasted, Naughty Dog was great (though I have yet to play their PS3 games), and Sucker Punch made one of the best platformer series ever.

But mostly Insomniac.

Bioware for me, and also Atlus. I love everything Atlus do.
Also... does that mean you liked Sonic Chronicles: Dark Brotherhood as well as I did?

I'm not much for handheld gaming; I haven't played that game.
