Is this ''cheating?''

It doesn't matter if it's cheating, I mean you aren't playing with other people are you? The problem with cheating in a singleplayer game is that it could ruin the experience for the person who's playing it. If I depended too much on my Action Replay the game would stop being fun, which ruins the experience for me. But if it's not ruining your experience or anyone else's, it doesn't matter if it's cheating, do it as much as you want. But if you feel guilty you should probably stop because that means it's having a negative effect on the amount of fun you're having playing the game.

In fallout 3, in most of my playthroughs, i would give myself 10,000 bottlecaps, 10000 rounds of .44 ammo, and the Lincoln Repeater (by far my favorite gun in the game) at the beginning. And I would up by science, lockpicking, speech, and repair up to 100 at the beginning (Science and lockpicking to get by locks and computers, speech so that I dont miss dialogue options, and repair so that I could keep my Lincoln Repeater at the best condition possible all the time.)

I admit to hacking SP bethesda games. I'm not going to miss out on exploring what's inside a chest or behind a door as part of RP, I'd rather just see what there is to see.

That would be cheating yes. In the end though, who cares. I am surprised you go through that many arrows though. I used a lot of marksman in Oblivion and never ran out.

if i have the money to buy something, but i steal it instead is that robbing, hell yeah. look at it this way, you can pick up the arrows or you can get them back no question ask and keep playing without losing a bit of fun.

But no one loss anything in the OPs way. So it is really robbery?

well of course not, he created them out of thin air, err code. so its not robbery its more like if i can do it i will, but this is not normal done by others so does that mean its ok.

It's cheating, but it's a totally understandable and defensible kind. You're hurting no one. You're just ridding yourself of a hassle.

I think I will stop and try and train up a melee skill just to be in the spirit of things. I don't sually cheat at anything.

I started doing it becuase I was stuck in passwall with about 10 knights of order attacking my dark seducer with no arrows...

So I gave myself the arrows and kicked ass.

Well I'm kind of planning to level my magic as my marksman is maxed now. I just seem to get into the zone and I run out of arrows and its depressing. :<

If your marksmen is maxed, how are you running out of so many arrows? I think I remember if your marksmen is high you can pull more of the arrows out of a body.

Also yes I think it is cheating but its a single player game so it only matters if you care. I did something similar my first play through by staying lvl 4 for 2/3 of the game.

Oh well I guess stealth and archer is a good combination. I would just stock up on more arrows. If your arena champion you could make your biggest fan carry a bunch on them.

Could it be possible its because I don't have 'Master' I left for the Shivering isles before I maxed it.

Not in Oblivion where you can put the difficulty to easy and kill in like 2 arrows. At least that's what I did when I got bored XD. In Fallout 3 I actually played on very easy all the way through. Getting one shot kills with the hunting rifle in VATS just feels too good.

I use the console commands quite a bit cause sometimes it can be a laugh. Like on Morrowind when I got bored and made everyone in Balmora jump up and down on the spot.

You're playing a single player RPG. Therefore, it's not cheating, it's "magic!"
