asllo i dont think you have to worry unless you want something more to happen tho. i will admit to geting way more flirtly with people i have known for a bit in games like this. think of it this way if someone wanted to scam you thay probably wounldent spend more than a day trying.

It's a good time, and if you think you can share that good time with a potential significant other, then why the fuck NOT go for it? Girls are just like guys, we're just less stupid. So when we get a chance with someone who we share a lot in common with, we think is cue at least on some level, and we like to talk to, we tend to go for it (or at least I do) and not dither around wondering if it might be an actual dude or not.

I have BEEN the second part of 5 (with permission) and i once came very close to being part of a very hardcore RP guild in WoW in a server with very little RP. Very very very, just because i didnt use it enough.
But if one of those RPers was also an airhead they might not mention it to you and....

If you're really curious, ask. If you think they might be lying when they tell you, use voice chat to confirm, or video chat. If you're still not convinced... assume they're a guy or not recommended meet in real life, if possible, and somewhere public and crowded.

If you're worried about being "punk'd" or a creeper, it'd only matter if they came on to you and you responded in the positive. Which you wouldn't if you weren't considering that kind of relationship.

If you are considering that kind of relationship... I'd lean towards don't unless it's not too much trouble to meet in reall life. If you really are though, steps above still apply. Except that if you doubt honesty after voice or video chat, don't continue.
