not to be picky but it seems that the shows you like are only anime and not cartoon. except for courage. and i understand that animes are technically cartoons but they are called different things for a reason. and honestly i was annoy with the anime on cartoon network. fine dbz was good. i give you that. but i want more shows like courage the cowardly dog, dexters lab, ed edd and eddy, and samurai jack. overall i agree though that tv has gotten much crapier on cartoon network. and even just tv as a whole. which is why i watch everything online now.

Guys do you think our rage is based entirely on us growing out of cartoons? when the kids that watch these shows grow up they will probably rant about this sort of thing too.

Also Does anyone remember robot jones?
Isn't it ironic that it was called 'Whatever Happened To Robot Jones?' or something, and none of us can explain its disappearance?

I think I stopped watching it in 2005? Not sure. It was whenever they stopped showing Aqua Teen Hunger Force, & the Venture Brothers.
ATHF just had a new episode about a month ago and I think they show it daily now. Venture Brothers is shown less frequently but I believe its going to go for another season. Sealab is sadly gone and will be dearly missed. Also I recommend Boondocks and Metalocolypse if you liked those two. Adult Swim is still awesome, its just the morning crew that needs to get its act together.

you forgot the swatcats! :O shame on you!
but seriusly DBZ and gundam ftw.
and yes the new stuff stucks, although the total drama island is funny, the dutch translation anyway.. when your totally bored that is XD
I used to love watching Swat Kats, I had assumed that it was a lesser known show since no had mentioned it yet.
it was one of the more popular ones, strangely enough. it just got kinda discontinued because hanah-barbara thought theyshould be more kiddy proof and not have cool things like jet fighters shooting shredder missiles.. :/ biggest. fail. ever. XD

Most of those good shows (Samurai Jack, Courage) can now be watched on Boomerang.
What I want to know is why do Cartoon Network show so many live action movies?

The only shows I still watch on Cartoon Network is Deltora Quest because it's based entirely on the book series I used to read as a child. Even with nostalgia added there are still lines that make me cringe though.
Agreed. My sister and I watch DQ as much as possible because we both loved the books so much. I think they've done okay, but requently it either drags on or the voice acting goes shitty.

I still watch it though :p

Toonami was the best selection of shows I've seen in years (And I'm not just saying that because my namesake is in one of them!). I'm still trying to process how they screwed that one up.

I used to watch a lot of cartoon network at my grandparent's house, Dexter's lab, Billy and Mandy, Johnny Bravo, Ed, Edd and Eddy and the Powerpuff girls to name a few. Oh well. I don't watch that much TV now, but Adult swim isn't that bad.

Hurr Durr, Everything was soo much better in my days Hurr Durr things are always going downhill Hurrrrrrrrrrrrr.

God Damn I hate people with their damn Rose tinted glasses. Cartoons Sucked as much when I was a kid as they do now. And the Good ones are just as good.
Like that Ben10 Cartoon. I watched that with my Nephew a while a go and found myself really enjoying it =).

I should really appologize for Hurring at everyone, but honestly... No, I'm sticking with it seeing as I'm getting a lot of Hurrs from people lately, I feel as though I wish to vent on this thread.

I wonder when do they add Hannah Montana into CARTOON network?
Courage the Cowardly Dog was fantastic , and so was samurai Jack and Dexter's Laboratory.
Where the hell did it go?!

Well, those series stopped production, so they're just showing reruns at this point.
This doesn't mean they should be completely dropped though... I miss when they used to introduce new shows a couple at a time, trying to find one that was a hit while keeping the backbone of established shows intact.

There's only one thing that will keep me coming back. The one show still going on Cartoon Network. If they cancel this, I will officially lose hope for t.v.

Total Drama Island is actually not bad when it comes to CARTOONS. all the live action stuff is complete shit though.

On the other hand if u want CARTOON network to have more ANIME, keep dreaming. Apparently ANIME doesnt garner as many views as regular american made CARTOONS.

I want Codename Kids Next Door, Dexter's Lab, and shoot even the Powerpuff Girls back :(
