Moreso though at the oh so overrated HL:2's undeserving game of the decade.

When they made it game of the decade, did they make it that on it's own, or bringing into account that it heralded the beginning of Steam and digital distribution?

If you factor in Steam, it's probably the most important game of the last two decades since it forced such a huge shift in the way games are published and sold.

While I didn't agree with all of the awards, I was generally happy with them. Very happy that Borderlands 2 won so many awards seeing as that's my personal GOTY.

I was kind of disappointed with the trailers though. Most of them were of games that were already announced and didn't really care about.

I was sorely disappointed that Forza didn't get the win for racing game. NFS? Are you kidding me?

Also, looking at all the rumor threads, I'm convinced that "The Phantom Pain" is definitely MGS5.

If we are talking about award shoes Journey was nominated for a Grammy. I'm not kidding. So if Journey didn't win best soundtrack or whatever then that makes me sad.

Actually pretty good this year. The winners were surprising (don't get me wrong I love Borderlands 2 but Claptrap did not deserve that best new character) And I was sort of pissed Walking Dead won game of the year, but whatever.

Anyway, I'm sure speaking about the "Phantom Pain" Trailer now is redundent, but Lords of Shadow 2 got me reallllly excited, and The Last of Us Looked amazingggg.

Wait, Half Life 2, the average baseline that you compare a shooter to, to determine whether the game is good (If the game is better than Half Life 2, it can be said to be an above average game, if it's worse, it's a below average game. Half Life 2 is a perfect baseline average) won game of the decade?

Twas good except for a few things
Claptrap winning character of the year (and the total nominees for characters of the year)
Borderlands two winning shooter of the year
During the orchestra they had the gameplay way to fucking loud during ME3 to enjoy it's quieter music
WHAT THE HELL HARRIS, WHY WERE YOU ONLY IN IT FOR 5 SECONDS

To be fair, FoC felt like a downgrade from WfC in almost every way, plus it was way shorter.

To be fair, FoC felt like a downgrade from WfC in almost every way, plus it was way shorter.

It felt much longer to me and gave more characters to play with along with going on with the Storyline rather than another War for Cybertron rehash.

That and the Multiplayer feels a lot more fun with the Science class not being crippled to using a heal gun and every class being able to pick up the Titans cannon.

Besides it's not like TF will ever win anything at all in the history of video games since today it's all about space operas and fantasy rpg times.

The Walking Dead winning GOTY was the biggest joke in the history of the world.Its not even a fucking game.Its a interactive choose your own path comic book.You couldnt even play it all at once when it was released.Biggest crock of bullshit I have ever seen.Yeah the story was good not but not good enough to forgive the fact that there was NO FUCKING GAMEPLAY!

If you want art like that then go to a goddamn museum.You cant have a game without game play.Other wise you just have a story and that was what the walking dead was.Just a story.You could have gotten the same with a book. Don't preach to me about games being art when that so called game winning was just a reason to get Robert Kirkman on stage at the VGA's.
