Something interesting I've noticed is that no-one tends to get upset/outraged at all when there's a thread about transexualism, which is great. But if anyone so much as mentions how something is sexist to either men or women, or that men's/women's rights are being trampled on, then it all tends to kick off. Same thing with the friendzone threads, it's like there are two groups that believe only one gender can be in the wrong, when in reality it's different for each situation.
Also, as this reply hasn't initiated or continued a gender war, I'd just like to state that men are the superior gender because we can pee standing up.
My mother always told me that the only thing a man can do that a woman can't is pee while standing up, but if I tried hard enough, I could probably do it, too.

Women want unrealistic sensitive tough guys, men want unrealistic friendly porn models. Women are overly defensive, men are apathatic, women watch too many rom coms, men keep giving micheal bay a career, both genders are as shallow as each other, which is pretty damn shallow. Get it? Sure, it ain't all men and women that are like this just most of them.
Okay, so you don't say that all men and women are like this, but can we all just cut out the stereotypes? We wouldn't have as many threads about gender if we would just give the benefit of the doubt to everyone on the internet that their identities, preferences and
everything is their own personal quirks, and any resemblance to a gender stereotype is pure coincidence.
Because that's what just peeves me about the very threads you complain about: that people just get stereotyped to Hell and back.
That is what gets my goat, and it just happens to happen more to women on the site because its easier to do it to the opposite sex, and there are more men around here. But people saying who men are or should be is just as annoying to me, too.
