Usually sob stories don't get to me, but this one hit me. Don't think I'd handle getting a call like that from my dad...

I know me saying I'm sorry for everyone involved on some forum doesn't do anything to help, but my thoughts are with them either way.
I felt bad too, when it says:

She begged: "Please dad, come back alive."

That really got to me. These men really are a testament to the bravery and sacrifice of humanity, its a shame that they will die but they will save so many people in death that it really deserves the title "A Heroic Death."

In short, this thread is a memorial to the brave souls that have volunteered to die to save their country and loved ones.
Not just their country. A nuclear catastrophe could affect the whole world...
I agree, it has been thought that the radiation might go down and hit the top of Australia which would really mess us all up.

Well damn... I lack proper words to honor them. Dying to protect your family and others is pretty much the noblest and most honorable thing I can imagine.

They're selflessness is an example to us all. My only gripe is with these forums. Why are you saying you're "praying" for them? Prayer does nothing. In fact, I believe it devalues what these men and women are doing. If you want to help do so by helping rebuild Japan. At least this way, their deaths won't be in vain. Japan is facing economical collapse for fucks sake. Praying won't stabilize the economy and neither will it give a home to the thousands who have lost theirs. If you truly cared for Japan, if you truly cared for what these people are doing, if you truly see and understand the sort of sacrifice these people are making then do your part as well.

Those men have testicles the size of Betelgeuse. My thoughts are with them and their families. I wish you all well.
Is that a south park reference?
No. It was meant as "These people have testicles the size of the class M star 'Betelgeuse'.

See the image below.

i dont want to sound like a sensless man, but the name "Samurai Warrior" and "Nuclear Ninja" made me smile, if not because they will be remembered always as the brave man that stood behind... i just hope they can help stop the crisis and their sacrifice is for something

The courage that these men are showing is truely inspirational, I hope that they may somehow survive this, they will be remembered.

Japan, my heart is with you.

Those brave men and woman should have their own square in Tokyo with statues and the full honors.
It's the least they deserve.

Such courage!
