Have you ever been repeatedly placed on the team that's full of the most incompetent people on Earth? I am referring to online games, of course.

In WoW, this would be playing through an instance or raid with people you don't know, in Bf:BC2 or MW2, this would be like playing "Rush" or "Domination" and being forced to do all of the heavy lifting because everyone else is too busy caring about their K/D.

Maybe you're playing an online Co-op or team RTS game and you get paired with the guy who doesn't know how to build a barracks, much less build an army.

It's happened to all of us once before, but how and when did it happen to you?

Burnout Paradise. I kept leaving due to the entire party being a bunch of colossal doofs, most seemingly unable to figure out which way was 'forward'. Every time I tried to rejoin a game, it dropped me back with them!

There's a reason I haven't renewed gold in over a year..

Last-night, MW2: Domination, My team full of campers.

Need i say more? I mean the other team were dominating ffs.

Still we had constant chopper gunners in the air...

Or you know, that one level 20ish in a team deathmatch with a K/D of 0.10

its rare i get placed on a team that sucks when im playing MW2, but quite a few times ive played against teams that were just DIRT, i rember one game i ended out 30 for 0 on skidrow, a usual score for me on skidrow is like 13-15 kills for 10-12 deaths, most of the time a bad team will usualy have people just start quitting out, wich bothers the hell out of me, you'll start out with a 4 person team, with 2 bad players, you, and a medium player, the medium player qill quit, and one of the bad ones will cause they think they are playing against people who are going to be WAY to over there level, and no one realizes doing that just amkes it easier for the other team, 2 on 4 SUCKS if ur an average to average-good player

It's always fun in MW2 getting on a deathmatch team with the 40s. I tend to join a different match if I notice people with all kinds of fancy rank emblems... it's not so fun when I'm only decent at maps while all these guys have every single nook and cranny memorized and know just where to sit and just where shoot while I'm going "what!? How did he see/shoot me!?" and then the skies get filled with air support... ugh. And I'm not crappy I think my K/D is 0.96 right now but I gotta gtfo when I'm in a game like that.

Sometimes yes. When it happens, I tend to play as a sniper or something like that, so I'm basically working by myself.

I find the only game it completely fucks you up in if your team is a stupid bunch of tossers is Left 4 Dead 1 and 2, as survivors. If you're playing on expert or realism, even one person not pulling their weight is a death sentence. That's why I usually play with friends.
:( I promise I won't backstab you again

This isn't quite the same, but a few days ago I was playing halo and ended up in a 1v4, me being the one against a truly terrible team. They still won, but their display of skill and sportsmanship was some of the worst i've seen. They only ever took me out if at least 3 of them ganged up on me, or if i'd just spawned and 2 of them got me before I could find a good weapon. And after EVERY SINGLE kill, they would group over me and teabag me as if it was some great accomplishment.

Almost every time I ever PuG'd an instance in WoW.

Normally it'd be a 'great' group if I could just get one other person who was a relatively good player.

Yeah, I make no apologies. I was a great WoW player and the vast majority of people I came across were unadulterated shit in comparison. Some were open to learning - that was fine, understand that not everyone researches like others do. Others were not, and they can go gently caress themselves outside of my groups.

MW2 is probably the most prime example. Sometimes I would watch three enemy team members come up a corridor guns blazing, and a teammate in a prime location just watches them shoot me while I reload. Absolutely bloody infuriating.

I keep getting auto-balanced...
It's annoying as hell when we are about to win!
Then someone said "Chill out, it's just a game"
I said "No it isn't a game, this is a f-ing joke"
5 times 1 game.
Team Fortress 2 really hates me

Yeah I think as long as you have at least one teammate to divert attention away from you it's easily doable, along with a larger map. The map I was on was a tiny forged variant. I mean once me and a friend won a 3v8 game of big team, just because me and him worked so well together.

If you pug in DOTA, you'll get a bad team 75% of the time. You'll get an annoying team 90%. You'll get a team that doesn't act like a team 80% of the time...

In otherwords, don't do a pug with DOTA.

I'm not sure if you play WoW, so this may mean nothing to you. Whatever though, someone will understand:

I was doing Naxxramas 10 man with a few friends and some other randomers. We got to Heigan and we had a Death Knight tanking. As soon as the fight starts, he pulls Heigan and does nothing...just stands still, completely ignoring the poison clouds. My friend is like 'MOVE MOVE MOVE', so what does he do? Pull him up onto the platform with us DPS. Naturally, we die.
