I get sick of noobs, i even have an angry reminder on my xbox bio about them.
Reminds me of the noobs in MW2, they hear a predator has just been launched so instead of running away from each other so the other guy doesn't get more kills and end your kill streak ... you run into the open and group together!

Have you ever been repeatedly placed on the team that's full of the most incompetent people on Earth? I am referring to online games, of course.

In WoW, this would be playing through an instance or raid with people you don't know, in Bf:BC2 or MW2, this would be like playing "Rush" or "Domination" and being forced to do all of the heavy lifting because everyone else is too busy caring about their K/D.

Maybe you're playing an online Co-op or team RTS game and you get paired with the guy who doesn't know how to build a barracks, much less build an army.

It's happened to all of us once before, but how and when did it happen to you?
I'm not sure if you play WoW, so this may mean nothing to you. Whatever though, someone will understand:

I was doing Naxxramas 10 man with a few friends and some other randomers. We got to Heigan and we had a Death Knight tanking. As soon as the fight starts, he pulls Heigan and does nothing...just stands still, completely ignoring the poison clouds. My friend is like 'MOVE MOVE MOVE', so what does he do? Pull him up onto the platform with us DPS. Naturally, we die.
I don't play WoW personally, but my brothers play around me enough that I know what you're talking about, and that sucks.

Its what i was warnign them against, Predator after predator got 3+ kills each time. When i see a predator comign in a run for cover and dispurse from the rest of my team.. its frustrating to look at the radar and sees 2 other green arrows right behind you, following you liek your some sort of anti-predator God thing >_<

When you play Heroes of Newerth, if you get a person who is good with Devourer (Pudge for you DotA players), your team can dominate really easily thanks to his sweet ganking abilities.

The problem? Most Devourer players are about this [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdFmNnuHGXg] skilled.

Happens all the time in TF2.

I can usually spot this team early on based on what they're doing.
For example:
Engineer is busy building a level 3 teleporter instead of going to build a sentry to defend.
Engineer is building his sentry in a distant corner that has no strategic value, can be easily destroyed by a few explosions and will generally see very little traffic. And of course, he has his port there and 75% of the team is camping that corner with him.

Medic is running around shooting needles and generally getting owned while his teammates are dying painful, horrible deaths.

Soldiers are incapable of firing rockets while moving forward. Every time they fire a rocket, they take a step(or several steps) backwards.

The entire team runs away from or chases after 1 Scout, or a single Spy.

Nobody bothers standing on the point. There are no enemies around, we managed to push them back momentarily, but everyone is avoiding the point like they could catch something from it, nor are they making any effort to attack the heavy+medic combo sitting nearby building their uber. This usually ends with the entire team being mowed down by said combo and me being left alone to defend.

Nobody is making any effort to push forward. The entire team is camping.

There are 7 spies/snipers on a 12 player team and none of them has killed anything in the last 10 minutes.
And I have been ninja'd. And it annoys me so much, even though I'm not fantastic at TF2. What annoys me so much is when we have four or five (insert class here) and less diversity. It also annoys the hell out of me when I'm the only medic on the team, especially in Arena mode. Whenever I get stuck with these teams, I get incredibly pissed.

This is why I make it a point to check the class distribution every once in a while. So I can switch to a class we lack/need.

I've had that happen more than a few times. I get a team with a bunch of idiots that bunch up and, whenever a predator missile or an air strike comes in, I'm the only one that seems to have the sense to run inside a building or hide underground while they sit there and about 3 or 4 of them get taken out. Even though I'm screaming through my headset that they should scatter and lessen the damage, they just stay where they are. Aye. I remember one partciular match when air strikes and predators were falling like rain and my team mates didn't listen to my pleas for them to stop crowding together and there mutli kills every minute or so. I was the only guy on my team to have a positive kill to death ratio during that game. Those guys fucking sucked!

Battleforge. It's an online RTS/CCG amalgamation. It was a two-player map and each half had secondary resources close to our main. We also had a spawn point right outside our base where enemies would occasionally show up.

I got paired with somebody who barely talked and seemed to have no interest in strategy. For instance, when I pointed out to him where his spawn point was, he walked over to it (you share one mini-map, btw), killed the enemies that spawned and just walked away. I told him twice to destroy it, but he just wouldn't and kept getting attacked.

It got worse later, though. After I secured my secondary resources, I used a moderate army to pass through the heavily fortified passage to get to his main since he was having trouble beating the guards at his second resource area. I then beat those guards for him, thus clearing the way to more resources for him.

All he had to do was build the extractor. What's this genius decide? He uses his very last resources building a defensive tower in front of the new resources (pointless, since I'd killed everything nearby) and then informs me he doesn't have enough left to build an extractor. I thought he was joking, because I figured nobody who'd made it to the second tier 2-player missions could possibly be this stupid, but he was. He then logged off leaving me with an unwinable match.

Yeah I definitely agree. Whenever I play TF2, I always play on a team with no medics. I'm usually pretty good with scout but I'll switch to medic to help out. But once I become a medic, then NO ONE else ever does. So I have to stay a medic the whole time. I think the team would've continued whether there was a medic or not, but it's stupid to NOT have a medic.

May seem like a petty complaint, but it's frustrating when you know you can get the case, but you have to stay as a medic because no one else will.

yeah burnout paradise is bad for people not even wanting to join in but just be online an ruin it for everyone else
for instance if someone starts a challenge it will be like - to start the challenge all 8 players meet on this bridge - so there is you and 6 others sat waiting for the last player to arrive so you can start the challenge... waiting... waiting, you finally look at the map to see where the hell he is, and surprise surprise hes half the map away, doing donuts on his own... does my head right in

Sad phenomenon with Team Fortress 2, when one team has a run of bad luck, all the "pro" players (who don't like to lose) join the winning team or just leave. So without FREQUENT team-scramble you end up with hugely mismatched teams, often heavily outnumbered such as 18 to 16.

When you are on an incompetent team it doesn't matter how good you are, you can't get anything done, you see medics wandering around healing no-one, pyros running head on into heavies, you can't put a sentry up because idiots are constantly taking ammo because they are 3-rounds short of max-ammo. Plus no one will cover you or you will build a sentry and see another engie come along... do they help you build? NO they build another lvl 1 sentry DIRECTLY NEXT TO YOURS and then just endlessly hammer it even when they've got no metal left.

Grrr....arrghhh.... must not... RAGE... QUIT!!!!

Left 4 Dead can be excruciating if you get morons for teammates. It's a cooperative game! The goal isn't to screw your teammates over!

The game that this happens most for me is Left 4 Dead 2. Specifically Versus mode playing as the Survivors, what usually happens is one guy charges into the distance then doesn't come back to help if you're being killed by zombies.

Another game this tends to happen in is MW2. I was playing a team deathmatch earlier on and most of my team and the enemy team were just camping, so I had to keep running up to the same camping spots and killing them over and over.

This isn't quite the same, but a few days ago I was playing halo and ended up in a 1v4, me being the one against a truly terrible team. They still won, but their display of skill and sportsmanship was some of the worst i've seen. They only ever took me out if at least 3 of them ganged up on me, or if i'd just spawned and 2 of them got me before I could find a good weapon. And after EVERY SINGLE kill, they would group over me and teabag me as if it was some great accomplishment.
That reminds of how much Halo tormented me when I played it. I was never good at that game I downright sucked, I once played a match where I was so bad my whole team quit, it was me vs 4 guys and the entire other team t-baged me when I died, amd I couldn't do anything to stop them because I sucked so much. I was livid.

OT: As the infected team in L4D2 my teammates decided to employ the NES game "attack one at a time" strategy. Or they just went exploring.
