Just found out what Cosplay is. Who would you be? Have you done this and who were you?

I'd be Batman. Or Spiderman. Or Darth Vader, Boba Fett... too many very obvious answers so I'm excluding them as answers for myself.

A co-worker showed up with the most professional looking Harry Potter attire you can imagine. She still did her work, but brightened everyone's day.

I just read a story at this site about Cosplay, so I just looked the topic up on Wikipedia, and, it is fun and I'm sure I've done it even accidentally.

What would you write is the last character you were? Who would you be?

I think, personally, I could pull off a Keebler Elf pretty convincingly.

You?

you've been on this site since 2009 and only now just found out what cosplay is? Firstly, I'd like to congratulate you on that amazing feat. Secondly, I've thought about who I could cosplay as but I don't really know of any characters that I'd like to go as that matches my build. I'm big (245 lbs.) and tall (6'2") and most video game / anime characters just don't match with that. I've thought about Ryu from Street Fighter but too many people probably do Ryu since its easy to do.

Well, I dressed up as a Silent Hill 3 nurse my first year in high school for a halloween contest, but that's all I can think of.

I'm gonna do it for this years halloween contest to, I'm having trouble deciding between V from V for Vendetta and Freddy Krueger(I want to cosplay a guy, just... because). Possibly Pyramid Head but I won't be getting to that project in a while. >_>

If I could cosplay ANYONE I wanted though, I would do... Uhhhmmm...

I'll think of something! Something really awesome.

I can pull off the Tenth and Eleventh Doctor.

I could also do L (Death Note) and earn the love of those crazy animé loving girls, easy.

There is only one character I really like enough (within my own gender) to make a costume of, dress like, talk like and act like for a day, and that character is... Sam!

The guy on the phone

But I will never ever wear a full-body fur suit, put another suit on top of that one and actually be seen out in public. In other words, never gonna cosplay.

A guy with some semblance of dignity. So basically I wouldn't cosplay.
You can't look dignified when you're having fun. Also, you usually cosplay at conventions/parties where others are doing the same, so in context it is considered as socially acceptable and no reduction in dignity is taken. If you can't get into the spirit of things then you're just not sociable.

I'll have to see what I can pull off, but I'll go all out if I can; secondary or tertiary character, obscure show, possibly different gender, it's all a mess around to me.

Easiest answer I've ever given to a thread, thus guy. [http://cdimg3.crunchyroll.com/i/spire1/03262008/d/2/a/d/d2ad35670d3ac0_full.jpg]

But if Coxaroonie isn't allowed, either Janitor or JD I'm fresh out of ideas. Not really a big enough fan of any characters to dress up as them. Although I guess I could play as my Fable III king, who's wearing PJ's. Or Major Swift. Just need a moustache that glorious...

If I absolutely had to, I'd dress as The Bard from The Bard's Tale, or an Orc with the hand of Sauron on its face from The Lord of the Rings.

I'm not sure if I actually want to cosplay. I doesn't seems interesting to me. But maybe a Big Daddy from BioShock. But other than that I cannot think of anything.

Probably The Sniper from TF 2. Or your typical Noble 6 from Halo; Reach.

Personally, I find The Sniper more appealing and characteristic and not some hunk of junk that resembles a robot/tin-can before a human form.

Lets see... tall, heavy, pasty skin, bushy beard, hm... based on my physique and appearance, and my interpretation of cosplay rules, I must therefore dress up as either:
A) a shirtless hero with painted-on muscle definition (but only if they're famously hairless),
B) any hero/animal as long as it involves skintight spandex (depending on the level of fatness from Roll-verine to Fatman), or
C) a Japanese schoolgirl from some anime to express a latent homosexuality for no obvious reason.

Haha... yeah... I'm ok with not doing those, thanks.

I have, however, enjoyed one particular costume that happens to fit my body type:
Professor James Jones, Sr. [sub]...but only if I can do the voice with it. heh.[/sub]
