I'm kinda in the mid-range of chunkiness. Not fat enough to portray Bob from Tekken and not thin enough to run around as 90% of anime characters ever. So, since I'd only cosplay something I at least half-way resemble that doesn't leave me with a lot of options. Fat Alucards just look stupid for instance. Like about where the guy on the left is, that's about where I am.

This year, I'm going to Tsukino-Con on Vancouver Island, and Anime Evolution in Vancouver. For TK, I'm going to be cosplaying as Alan Wake, and for AE, I'm going as Four Swords Link.

I'd like to cosplay as an NCR Veteran Ranger, and am working on getting an outfit that looks like the Ranger Combat Armor, with some liberties for the sake of functionality and personal preference. I got ballistic sunglasses with red lenses instead of the helmet, because I hate helmets. HATE. The vest won't look like theirs but it'll be bulletproof and black, so I figure that's what counts.

No compromise on the duster, though, and I'll be sure to get everything painted like the Rangers have.

I love doing cosplay! I went to October's London MCM Expo as Hinata Hyuuga. That was a favour for my bf, he has a thing for Hinata >.>

Anyway, for the one in May I'm going as Xion from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Then hopefully as Tifa (Advent Children style) to the next October one. Just need to lose a little weight first so I can do the characters justice >.>

I've kinda grown out of dressing when I was twelve.
But since I'm quite tall and I can totally rock a coat and hat (and I love posing and feigning auhtority) I would probably do a WH40k Imperial Commissar. If I had the costume that is.
Sadly, no store in my country sells military caps with skulls on them, even as costume pieces. Nazi imagery and all that.
