Is there really nothing else going on in the world that we have to shake down Justin Bieber for his political stance, that is under "why should I care what celebrity A's personal opinion is?" and why does the young turk guy make me want to punch him in the face.

So he calls the country that made his bank roll evil? Little douchebag.

But once again, i envy and feel sorry for the boy, he is 16 years old and he gets questions like this where people judge him like he is a grown man. he aint he is 16 frekking years old and i am pretty sure he have other stuff on his mind then abortion, Us citi ship, Politic.
He's from Canada, by law up there, he's recognized as an adult. He's 16, I've seen people much younger then him discuss abortion, health care and political ideologies. You can't throw the "he's just a kid!!11." argument at him when he is clearly old enough to form his own opinions.

OT: I have to disagree with him on the Abortion claim and America being 'evil' for not having universal health care. For the former: He can think what he wants, he has a right to his opinion, but the rape comment was over the line. For the latter: Come on now Bieber, you're 16, you should know that you still pay for the bill, just not directly. Not to mention that some states (Or at least Massachusetts)already have government paid Insurance companies to provide health care for people who normally wouldn't be able to afford it. We're not all evil and greedy.

Oooooh, it's the Young Turks.

The Youtube channel that tries to be a super-serial news outlet, with a front man that is just as shouty and ignorant to other's opinions like Bill O'Reilly, a something-something-weather-lady who's just eye candy, and who continually dwelve into fascinating subjects like "Wow, Soulja Boy has a massive penis" (No, I'm not kidding, they did a news segment on that).

I'll pass
They have serious news stories and completely random entertainment stories, That is what I love about TYT.

The opinion of a 16 year old child star is worth...what?
Really. It's not like he's running for office, so why are his opinions on these subjects important at all? Why are the questions even being asked?

And i have seen people much much older then him discuss abortion health care and political ideologies and failed horribly on the subjects.

Ok maby we cant trow the he is only 16 arguemnt around all the time but what about this:
He is a 16 year pop star and his day to day rutine is making songs, singing, and 1 day a week *quote from himself in a intervjue* he takes a day to be a KID and hang with friends and play baskeball and whatnot.

You really really think he is so interrestet in politic? and abortion and health care? I cant think for him but i am pretty sure his honest awnser would be no.

And tbh to ask a 16 year old pop star about stuff like this just comes off as trying to put him in a bad light.

Once again not saying its a EXCUSE that he is a 16 year old pop star, just saying the chance is rather frekking big that he got other stuff on his mind then the question asken.

So guys cant we just give him some slack?

This just makes me dislike Beiber even less. The healthcare thing, while valid, is an opinion shared by all Canadians, and comes as naturally as riding a polar bear or wearing a toque. But god, that kid is some kind of abstinence loving, abortion hating, WASP robot. "Everything happens for a reason?" God, this kid better think before he talks.

And referring to the USA as evil? While our neighbors to the south aren't perfect, they are by no means "evil," and almost his entire fan-base lives there. Beiber makes Canada facepalm.

I'm quite sure he was spoon fed his answers before giving them. No PR guy in the business would let such a hot topic button issue have little boy germs spewed out with no thought to consequences without a severely detailed info gathering on how best to approach the topic and not lose half his fan base.

because he is popular in certain age groups and his fans, mostly impressionable kids, will be influenced by this stupidity. (replying to Ratrace123's comment)

If those are his beliefs, good on him. A 17 year old with a view on the world is a rare thing, especially in showbiz. If not, c'est la vie.

I don't like his abortion answer, but he's not me.

I'm sorry, but surely Bieber is a walking endorsement for abortion?
Yes the guy that manage to get fame using youtube and then making headline all over the world, making millions, he is a walking endorsement for abortion...

This is not trolling but i lose hope in humanity that can act this pitty.

Can you give me 1 really good reason why you dont want justin to live?

I am not a fan of him but i dont wish his existance to end.

To be honest i am more in envy of him, atleast the guy know what he wants with his life.

You kinda have to agree with him just a tiny bit? not saying all of usa is evil that would be ignorante of me, but when it comes to the medical system usa provide compare to other countries like Norway, Canada, France, and other countries, USA have a long way to go to reach standars like that.

But once again, i envy and feel sorry for the boy, he is 16 years old and he gets questions like this where people judge him like he is a grown man. he aint he is 16 frekking years old and i am pretty sure he have other stuff on his mind then abortion, Us citi ship, Politic.

And last i am getting abit sick of all the hate towards him, so what if he is over all the media and whatnot? he is a famouse kid and the media and all around him wants a pice of him to milk som $/?/£ or whatever currency you got.
I disagree with him on the grounds that the music that he is payed to sing is not of a high enough quality for him to be as famous or successful as he currently is. And also I am not in the mood to debate health care atm.

The Beeb is a product of his enviroment and illustrates why I think the educational system needs to be worked on, not just in the US but apparently in Canada as well. I tend to be a bit worried about propaganda when the word "evil" is used in connection to the US from a nation closely allied with us.

At the same time, his level of ignorance sort of reminds me of a statement by Chuchhill (I think) "If you aren't a liberal when your young, you have no heart. If your not a conservative when your old you have no brain". With the left wing propaganda machine in the school system right now I think it's more true than it's ever been.

One of the problems with The Beeb's thoughts on health care is that he's probably never even considered it in a big picture sense, or had it spelled out for him. I can get the whole "wow I'm glad I live in a nation with socialized health care right now" but at the same time I don't think a lot of those people who fire criticisms at a capotalist system really get that it's the USA and the few other major countries without socialized systems that are propping it up. Simply put drug companies and those who do the research to develop new medical treatments are out to make money. You can argue about how everyone should be a philanthropist until your blue in the face, but the bottom line is someone has to pay those bills, and the higher the moral standards in the research the more expensive it gets. Nations with socialized health care basically set a price for drugs and services that the goverment is willing to pay, oftentimes with very little in the way of a profit margin, especially for the drugs. The companies making the drugs and developing the new treatments rely on the open markets to recoup their development costs and make a profit. The US socializes it's health care and it's going to have a profound impact on a lot of the world and the progression of medical sceience.

A lot of people don't like that point, or want to instinctively disagree with it, but the bottom line is it's all about the money. I think Canadians who love their socialized health care (and let's be honest, why wouldn't they?) should thank god every night that the US has so far not gone to socialized health care the same way.

Well, his answers weren't completely terrible. He's right about the healthcare, but the abortion bit was not the greatest answer. But since he's only sixteen I think it's forgiveable, I know I had some flat-out retarded views when I was that age.
