A little backstory on this first. After watching an old British Sci-fi comdedy called Red Dwarf, there is one episode where a robot makes people justify their existence and if they can't deletes them from time and space and replaces them with another life, one of the sperms that didn't make it to the egg(so to speak).
I actually love you. When I read the thread title, I was instantly reminded of '
The Inquisitor'. It's made me ridiculously happy to learn that my instinct was actually right, and that someone else is aware of Red Dwarf's existence. -Delighted squeal- <3
OT: As others have said before me, I'd be in the same boat as Rimmer. I am remarkably harsh on myself, and as such, it'd be no easy feat to convince myself I deserve to live over anyone else. One thing I could say in my own defence is that I have a good heart, a strong sense of justice, and an open mind. I'm slowly working towards entering into a career in the Public Services, where I'll be hunting down criminals and bringing them to justice - not entirely unlike the work of The Inquisitor. That's gotta count for something, right?
