Aside from all the quite pathetic Bieber bashing from people who are either A) jumping of the bandwagon of hating things that are "Cool" to hate or B) way too easily offended.

If you are annoyed because he comes on the radio, you are listening to the wrong radio station.
If you are annoyed because his videos come on the music channel, you are watching the wrong music channel.
If you bought his album you only have yourself to blame.

It's just like the Twilight bashing all over again, stop being so stuck up your own arses over nothing. Some people enjoy it, some people don't, don't take out your lack of luck with teenage girls by becoming mad at the things they enjoy.

Yeah I don't like his music, even though it's probably my type, but I don't go and be a jackass who only wants to spoil other people's fun.

HOWEVER.
I'd be pretty pissed if I'd payed to see a huge concert, and then had to sit through ads. It's bad enough at the cinema, it's fucking outrageous with current ticket prices.

How many teen girls who are Justin Bieber fans own a 360 in the first place? Very little; they mostly will all have Wiis if any console at all. I can't see them running out and getting both a 360 and Kinect.
I can.

Some gals at my work actually like that "Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby, Ooooh." Song.

It's as repetitive as the Badger Song without ANY of the charm -.-. Though I did catch a snake in the song, course he was singing it.

You heard him folks, you aren't allowed to say anything about anything unless what you have to say is positive.

Happen to hate AIDS? Well you best shut the hell up, if it annoys you so much then don't get it. Jeeze.

You act like him being popular perpetuates his kind of music which greatly lowers the chance of anything you might like actually being supported and growing to a level where you'll ever even find out that they exist.

That's absolutely preposterous I say. When has society ever been known to not change and advance when everyone just blindly accepts something and won't rise up to desire an alternative.

It's not less obnoxious for people to dislike things than it is for someone to come along and badger them for disliking something. The attitude that "It does no harm." is absolute bollocks too. The market is a fickle beast that feeds insatiably on what brings in money. Any alternative that doesn't sound, smell, or look like Bieber is going to have to try very hard to get known.

Just like there were dozens, if not hundreds, of better book series released during Twilight (some even of the same genre vampire/romance) that mostly got pushed to the side because they didn't have a marketing team fighting to make them relevant.

There are countless petabytes of quality information lost yearly because people just blindly run into the arms of "What is popular." Ignoring the fact that the only thing separating "What is Popular." with "What is not." Is how much marketing money you put behind it.

Had this kid actually had to work for a singing career he wouldn't have gotten one. Because every highschool in the country has someone who sings as well as he does and can write songs as well as he has put out. That's what annoys me personally.

HOWEVER.
You have no right to complain about the advertising, if you didn't want to sit through it you should have spent more money than microsoft invested into him to get that advertising.

I swear bashing marketing is like the twilight bashers all over again.

I hope he tries to read the German version of the manual.

Man, that'd be funny.
Bieber: "We don't say that word in the United States. Are you asking me if I like basketball?"
Reporter: [laughs]
Indeed. What a fool he is =]

As if the bar for the Kinect couldn't get low enough, they begin using a tunneling drill to go lower.

Well done, Microsoft. I wouldn't be surprised if Miley Cyrus started advertising the Playstation Move some time soon.

Good job at completely missing my point.
Your argument might even make sense if people only ever bought one book, or only ever listened to one artist.
Books like twilight probably strengthened the genre, from people who enjoyed it branching out to find other books like it.
Girls who like Justin Bieber usually find their way to something like this and realise their mistake. Maybe if it was cool to hate it you would slag off Dr Who for it not being proper science fiction, even though it probably attracts people who wouldn't give star trek the time of day to the genre.

I support a few under-appreciated writers, developers and even musicians, I've been at a concert that only had three fans there because I liked the music, gone to book signings and recomended the things to everyone I know.
When I hear someone likes something like Twilight, I recomend an alternative, and say that if they liked that, they'll love this.

What I don't do is act like a child and scream I HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT.

Grow up.

Also.
I have every right, having paid £50 for tickets for me and my girlfriend to go and see a concert, to not expect them to bombard me with adverts. And I'd not support an artist if they pulled that shit on me.

Or, could this be reverse psychology and an attempt to get hardcore gamers into Justin Bieber? It's worked on me: I already bought all of his albums and have them on repeat. Any 16-year-old that uses terms like "shorty" is cool with me.
its actually shawty ! xD

If Justin Bieber goes anywhere near any sort of product, I know it's not the product for me.
What about if games are released for kinect where you can fight/beat the shit out of anyone?

Microsoft... This proves what I've thought all along...
Microsoft are only in it for the money...

I know this may seem like a silly statement but I like to think Sony and Nintendo are at least a little interested in the actual product not just the figure.
