I confess I did not listen to it because thankfully audiobooks and podcasts means I have something to listen to other than the Kanye brand inanity. But, like...how hard is Kim Kardashian trying to make him see a doctor here? She's not exactly a weak and feeble ingenue, who can only get a case of the vapours as her husband does what he likes.

As someone who has lived with a mentally unstable person, and had to see the shit show that is the mental health system in the US, there isn't a whole lot that a person can do to force another person into treatment/therapy. If they aren't doing anything criminal, or immediately harmful to themselves or others. If Kanye doesn't WANT to go to therapy, aside from him doing something like whipping his dick out at his presidential party, and declaring the first person to suck him off gets to be his VP, AND also go to heaven with GEEEEZUSUH! , we're pretty much stuck with him ranting like a fucking loon. And there is very little legal recourse for the family. Given how nuts he is, I am confident that Kim, and the rest of the family, who definitely seem to me, to be people with their heads on straight, and capable of reason and understanding unstable behavior, have tried multiple times to get Kanye to go to treatment, hence why he's said she tried to lock him up. To HIM, yeah that's what it seems like, because he's irrational, and people with irrational minds, don't process things rationally. So to HIM, it's them trying to cart him off! When the reality is probably more along the lines of "Kanye, you're behaving crazy, scaring us, embarrassing yourself every time you go out in public, I think you should see a doctor about some therapy and/or medication."
But Kanye doesn't think anything's wrong with him, he's just juiced on Jesus Juice and his own inflated ego, and he thinks there is nothing wrong with that.

Quite possibly not. If Kanye's in some sort of paranoid or megalomanic state, there's no particular reason he'll listen to anyone at all. Never mind that, but even people who aren't mentally ill can't necessarily be persuaded by their spouses, even when those spouses threaten to walk.
No, she legally doesn't. He's an adult in his own right, and has the final say on his own mental/physical health matters, outside my above examples of him doing criminal/dangerous things. Unless she has evidence of cases where he was a danger to himself and others, there's very little the government can do about it. Plus you have to consider state laws about these things as well as federal. She might be able to do her state's equivalent of a "Wellness Check", but those checks look for things like open refuse problems in the house. Sanitation issues, are they living in their own filth? Are they writing on the walls in crazy script? Etc. And I promise nothing like that is at the Kardashian/West house. It's too well kept. So they would only be able to report that he's got good hygiene, is in an immaculately maintained home, and doesn't seem to be suffering from malnutrition/etc.
Being crazy in itself isn't illegal, thus you can't confine someone just on the basis of that against their will. They have to behave in a way that is demonstrably illegal/dangerous, and only then can the various agencies step in.
Jesus can't fulfill the duties of the office. Not eligible to be president, for one (not a natural born US citizen). Wouldn't show up to break Senate ties, for another.
You don't have to be a natural born citizen if you were a citizen at the time the Constitution was adopted, so if Jesus was in disguise in America in 1787, problem solved!
I know you are being silly with this statement, but you do understand that something like the rule of law isn't going to stop someone as delusional as Kanye from declaring it right? I mean ultra-religious bloc of the country have been trying to turn us into a theocracy for decades, and are succeeding. It's not like it's a bizarre thing for them to spout. We've got things like all the religious leaders with their hands on Trump in a photo-op, doing the lay of hands thing, as if they have magical powers to convey their god's magic via touch, is it really crazy to think someone as horny for jesus as Kanye would say they want to bring "God back to the Government!" by declaring that jesus is their VP?
