Young people suck as teammates. I don´t care about you´re gaming skills, i DO care about you´re social skills.
I'll play with them as long as they shut the fuck up and stop calling me a "fag" and "battle medic", And generally don't be a douche...

Item hogg
Team killer
AFK too often
No idea what they're doing
Self appointed leader
10 year old
Gets in the way then blames you
Refuses to accept that they aren't the best player ever
Aside from this (which, due to my aversion to online games, I mostly have not experienced), there is the type of person that I am. Extremely aggro people who kick tons of ass but usually die in the fray. Which I guess is alright in large multiplayer games but in things like Gears of War and Army of Two, my friends hate me.

the ones the spread around unconstructive criticism
I'm playing some game, and someone makes a mistake, then some guys go "You are fucking terrible, l2p n00b" or "uninstall the game, please"
if anyone says this kind of stuff: go bite the curb.
There is no use in this kind of talk, you elitist idiot.
Teammates that make mistakes are always going to be there unless you teach them.

Those idiots who need to not play the game.

I mean, i go 42/7, and we still lose at TDM in black ops.
What the hell!?! I earn 70-80% of the kills, and my entire team does nothing but suck and die!

I dont want to be mean about this or anything, but people that bad shouldent be allowed to play the game online. Is it to much to ask for a team that doesnt die? I can get every kill for us, and i can capture every point if the game mode calls for it. As long as they dont suck and die, id be happy.

Never met a team mate I hate. That sort of thing never happens on TF2. In COD I play with organised teams, so no bad people there. Same in L4D.
In that case I honestly envy you
It's just a case of knowing the right servers and people.

Elitists, exploit abusers, teamkillers, kill stealers, and hunters (aka going off on their own, then blaming the team for the loss).

I also hate people that are way too good at the game. You know, those people that usually finish a match with twenty kills and two deaths? Even if they're on my side, I hate it; makes me feel inadequate.

And yes, I realize kill-stealing is a fairly debatable concept...but lemme put it like this: Imagine you're in a one on one shoot-it-out match with an enemy player, and you're just about to get the kill, when someone who was waiting to the side, not helping you, suddenly shoots them and gets the kill. That is kill stealing, and I hate it.

The kind that kill steals you and then later on dies a bunch of times and blames it on you for not helping.

The butthole who bitches too much, the butthole who doesn't realize his shitty music can be heard through his headset, the assholes who run in front of me when team killing is possible and gets us both killed by the enemy because I try to not team kill, and until recently, the asshole who kills you for no reason so you can't move the objective. I hate f*cking randoms on team games.

I'm only really bothered by a teammate if they actively hinder my performance. Blocking lines of sight, jumping around in front of me, stealing power weapons then getting killed, that kind of thing. There's always a mute button, so whiny assholes don't bother me that much. In fact, I sometimes leave them unmuted for laughs.

1. Rage Quitters. I know, I know, I should be happy to see someone who sucks quit -- except all my fellow Left 4 Dead-ers know how hard it is to beat a full team when you're short a man. I've had all three teammates quit after we lost a round! If you suck at a game, play it more. That one guy who keeps killing you? He's not yelling "hacks" and leaving the game. He's playing smart. Watch him. Do what he does. Soon enough you will cause others to rage quit.

2. H4XX0RZ and Admin Gods. I've encountered several servers where the jackass running them was also playing on them, using admin powers to noclip, be invincible, and so forth. Aimbots also seriously piss me off. Cheating does NOT make you a superior player, nor a particularly clever one. You want to feel powerful? Grow the *F* up, put on your big gamer pants, and PLAY BETTER. High scores are earned through practice.

3. One-Man Army. This guy bites in any game, but in Left 4 Dead he's an extra large portion of suck. You self-appointed team leaders who "lead" by dashing half a mile into the grasp of a Hunter, listen up: I can, will, and have watched you die without lifting a finger.

4. Idiots who put music or TV through the mike channel. Wondering why I never do what you say? It's because I muted you.
I agree with all of these reasons, though for pretty much any game I have played multiplayer for (since I rarely play L4D multi).

Quiters and teamkillers.

That's people who quit just because we're losing, by the way.

Oh, and people that play objective games as if they were deathmatch. FOCUS ON THE FUCKING HEADQUARTERS, PEOPLE! STOP CAMPING AND GET YOUR FUCKING ASS DOWN HERE!!!

lately I hate all the teammates in Black Ops who dont revive me when im in last stand. sometimes they just stand there for an hour.
This one time a timemate was standing next to me and i thought he was going to revive me. Until i moved a bit so he could run past me into a hallway. I was so pissed I shot him in the back.

All of them.

Some exception can be made, but usually they're all a bunch of screen hogging attentionseekers.

I play Monster Hunter Tri, and I'm good. Seriously, I'm getting pretty darn good at it. It's only that I don't have the time to boost my HR(Hunter Rank, sort of like level) like a crazy man. I have obligations and stuff. Y'know, education, jobs, friends, the stuff the people I hate all lack. The trapwasting, teamhitting, "omg I wanna do dragonator but will totally miss" kinda guys.

Essentially it's what's wrong with playing in a team with non-teamplayers: The selfishness gets in the way of actually playing as a team. The always get me upset.

I don't mind people making mistakes, I mind people who make mistakes and be jerks about it.
