Well if you had the PS2 Final Mix, like I did, the only thing new that was added in was the ability EXP Zero for doing Level 1 challenges. Aside from the bonus stuff, the controls have been changed and may take some getting used to. The right analog stick controls the camera, and the bottom of the command menu is replaced with the Summon command. Talking and opening boxes, along with activating special moves in battle like Strike Raid have been moved to the Triangle button.neonsword13-ops said:What, huh?
Although the HD collection has a serious lack of KH2 (Probably coming in a second pack with Birth By Sleep), I'll still pick it up once it hits $20 or so to get a super big nostalgia rush. I also heard that the collection makes some improvements to KH1 in terms of gameplay. How big of an improvement is it compared to the original version, aside from all of the bonus content?
In the Final Mix enemies will do more damage to you and are tougher, and if you are on Final Mix Proud then they do times 2 damage to you, and the Heartless Gummi Ships do 4x the damage to you.
It fixed the Oogie's Manor Red Trinity bug in which the trinity disappears if you don't get it before fighting Oogie. Instead they moved it to the bottom of the place where you fight Oogie, it's on a wall.
Oh and this will be bolded so everyone will see:
Most of the Dalmatian Puppies have had their locations changed to be in trinities or in different chests from the original! Don't use a US Kingdom Hearts 1 guide for them as it will be wrong.
Chests have also been changed to only contain rare gummis so then you can actually open all of the chests this time.
